Sorry to tell you that measurement function only includes voltage, current, active power and energy measurement. I see the rated power is for 2.2kw but they mention the load can be over rated power.** A: Yes, but you might need to use an external current sensor. I think the 2.2 kW are in reference to the integrated shunt resistors. They have a limitation in terms of how much current they can take. The meter itself can read 7.7 kW just fine.
