These bottles are super tiny. I can get the 700g sized bottle for about 8 or 9 dollars at my local Asian market. Unfortunately, by the time I realized this, I'd already received my shipment. Aside from Korean dishes, I've tried using this to replace soy sauce for wasabi dipping and it is ok but not great. I've also tried to replace fish sauce and soy sauce in some other South Eastern Asian cooking, same result. There're many other soy and fish sauce which I can use interchangeably in different Asian cuisine in an attempt to downsize my seasoning pantry, but this is probably not one of them. However, I think these are great for Korean cooking so I'm still giving it five stars.The plastic bottle is shaped like the small glass bottles of Chinese soy sauce. I normally prefer glass or ceramic containers for seasoning but these plastic capes have one advantage over the glass bottle: the plastic cap on these plastic bottles do not leak.
