## Description

Mersen Ferraz ATDR30 time delay fuse (Amp-Trap), rated at 30 Amps, 600 VAC has been designed to protect electrical circuits from damaging overcurrents. Providing a delay in response to overloads, allowing temporary surges without immediate tripping. Applications include small motors, contactors, lighting, heating and general loads, branch circuit protection. ATDR Class CC fuses deliver the best time-delay characteristics in their class with excellent cycling ability for small motor loads.Utilising a time-delay mechanism, if the current through the fuse exceeds its rated limit, heat buildup occurs within the fuse element causing it to melt or open, interrupting the circuit. This delay prevents immediate fuse tripping, ensuring the uninterrupted operation of equipment and providing reliable protection against sustained overcurrent events.Time delay fuses are used in industrial and commercial applications to safeguard equipment and prevent damage to panel boards, distribution boards, and motor control centres.This time delay fuse has a high-grade silica filler to ensure fast arc quenching and optimum current limitation. The time delay accommodates motor starting inrush currents without nuisance opening with improved cycling ability for frequent motor starts and stops.
