While going through my most recent round of physical therapy I discovered the Backnobber. I tried it at the facility and immediately went home to find and buy one. In the past I would have to roll on a tennis ball on the floor to relieve the pressure points that would occur(something I learned years ago from one of my chiropractors). It wasn't the easiest thing to do, especially right after surgery. Getting down was not to bad, but getting back up was a bit more difficult. Although that method worked OK, the Backnobber is a superior piece of equipment. Very simple in design but most effective. It is sturdily built yet you can take it apart for easy of packing when you travel. I never go on a trip without it. Because of it's design you can pin point the problem areas and apply as much or little pressure as it takes to relieve the muscle knots. With the ball on the floor routine, it was not always as effective as you would want. You would always be moving around (using your muscles) that you wanted to relax to get the ball to the point you wanted it.
