They are plenty big for my hubby who works out every day and eats a lot for meals, because he doesn't snack. May be a bit too big for me. My concern is the lids are flat on top and after washing them they seemed pretty slippery. I don't think it would be a great idea to stack them, which means they would take up a lot of room in the fridge. This is my first set of glass storage containers, so I don't know if this is a common issue. You can always put a small washcloth between them to keep em from sliding.The seal looks like it works fine. It's a bit of a learning curve putting it back in, but one you've figured it out, its really easy. I'll update after using these for a while if anything jumps out at me.Update: I purchased another brand and the sliding with the lid on issue remains the same. I can stack these when they're empty, I just put the foam that came with them in-between the glass so they don't get stuck.Update: I was so worried they would get stuck together stacking, I didn’t even try to stack em without the foam. After messing with these a little, I realized, there is no need for foam with the empty stacking. They stack together empty perfectly!! I love them even more now! Also, the lids are slippery when they're wet, but if you dry them well, they stack in the fridge without being slippery. I'm more excited about these than a person should be about food storage containers, but what a good deal on a high quality reusable storage container. I don't have to worry about plastic melting, warping, staining, or leaching into my food. This set will pay for itself in the cost of a week of fast-food lunches and allows me to eat healthier too!The seal in these fits better in these than the other brand I bought and this band has many more color options available. I contacted the seller and they responded very quickly. The containers and lids have a great one year warranty. The other container I purchased had two compartments and it would be impossible to stack them more than two high safely, so for storage purposes, I much prefer not to have the divider. I just bought another set from C Crest with 5-34 oz and 5-12 oz. The seal seems to be sturdy like it will hold up to many washes and uses. The rim around the glass helps keep a seal and offers support while holding and moving the glass around. The glass is thick so I trust that these are freezer and oven safe and will try those features out eventually.The lids are really nice and the plastic is thick and sturdy all around. They also came with a plastic film on top to prevent scratching in during packing/shipment. The lids do stack nicely on top of each other, as do the glass bottoms. When stored with lids on and stacked, the lid provides a nice slip-resistant surface for the glass so they don't easily move around and slip off.The lock hinges open and close easily for those with arthritic hands and the seal works! When I first filled one up with water to test the seal, it began leaking, but that is because the seal was not fully sealed. I simply pressed down on that corner to form the seal and it became leak proof. So, if you plan on traveling, definitely make sure you gently press around the edges of the lid to form a proper seal.I would buy these again in other sizes!
