I just got these pens a month ago. Their awesome ! Mossberg makes great, reliable and well made, thought out products. I’ve carried and used mine as a pen several times with out fail, the pocket clip works as intended hold tight to my shirt pocket , collar or my EDC pack. The pen is a bit heavy but it’s as strong as a tank. I haven’t had to use it a self defense situation yet ( I hope I never do ) but I wouldn’t hesitate or question it’s abilities or reliability either. I recommend this Mossberg self defense pen if your considering purchasing one.

Works for my wife and she had another cheaper type tac pen but like this one way more, I have a Gerber tac pen and theres no comparison however its a good tac pen for the price and you get a back up if you loose it and wont break the bank. I am just not a fan of the top being able to come off and keep needing to switch around depending on what side you need.
