The Control4 and Alexa integration is still very new and therefore quite rought, but it works well for the most part (Alexa will say it can't get the drapes or shades to respond, but then it will immediately start working right after Alexa says this). Anyway, I might buy the $10 replacement antenna someone else mentioned in the reviews and see if tha thelps (we have very high ceilings and this thing sits in an electronic closet) and see if that improves performance. But otherwise it was straightforward. Each remote is located either in its blind tube or externally and controls the motor of the blind. These remotes can be controlled by the RTSI II independently of the handheld controls. So the programming of your existing handheld control devices stays the same. The RTSI II behaves like a second handheld control used in parallel. But do not try to move the blind up via handheld control and at the same time down by RTSI II. The only thing you have to do is to setup the correct communication between the RTSI II and the remotes: set the remote in programming mode (with a button at the remote) and let the RTSI II learn the communication to this remote. Do this for each remote. Then the RTSI II can send the commands it receives via RS232 or RS485 to the according remote.
