It essentially acts as a specialized two channel bass mixer. I have the PASV-4 block pickup - the Radial preamps sound nice and I haven't noticed any additional noise introduced in my signal path. Didn't need the OD but it's kinda cool to have it. The EQ is great considering my only other option was to haul a small mixer to gigs. The unit is solid. Period. Outstanding customer service!It is a great unit but, let's face it, bassist don't all play the same instrument/amp, right?
