But it will dry out your hair. If your hair is dry is takes a while for it to color. If it's wet not so much. I won't buy it again. **Q: can the chalks work on doll's hair?** A: Yeah I don't see why not. It will get on whatever it touches though so use hairspray **Q: Is it safe to put it on a puppy?** A: No. You need to seal it with hair spray (which is 100% not safe for dogs) or else it's a loose powder that your dog could shake of and digest, again not safe for dogs.
