It was jammed packed with information and references to research. I particularly found helpful - learning the filters people see reality through. It really explained how people can have the same data and come up with different conclusions PLUS what to do about it. - the difficult people chapter. This helped me see that I was actually encouraging other people's bad behavior by not being assertive enough, taking it to personally, or caving for peace. - the networking chapter. The tips for how to get in and out of conversations was great. The book also expelled a lot of myths about communication such as a person is lying if they look to your left and that you need to talk a lot to be liked. I have been reading the correlating sections of this book every time I have a social event and I have seen improvement.
