The procedure to get it to work is documented on the Vera Forums. Do a web search for "Aeon Gen5 Key Fob ZW088-A not communicating with Vera".I have raised my review to 3 stars. I would give higher marks for this cool device, however, Aeon Labs has never responded to my emails (or this review). Do not expect ANY support from this company.--------------Be aware that older reviews (pre-mid December 2014) for this key fob are not relevant to the current product being shipped. The product you will receive is a Z-Wave Gen5 model. It will not currently work on a Vera 3 (and certainly not a Vera Lite). I have been on the phone with Vera support multiple days and hours, and they cannot get the device to function (props to Vera Support, they try hard). I have also emailed (they have no phone number) Aeon Labs to give me instructions on how to properly include it into my system, however 3-4 weeks later, I have not received a response from them. I would say it is an expensive paperweight, however it is too light to even function well at that. ### ⭐⭐ Nice idea, poor everything else *by B***N on Reviewed in the United States on December 2, 2014* Sad to say, I had to return the product. I was actually looking to have it replaced because I really liked the idea.My problem was that the battery went dead just days after I received the device. My bigger problem was that once I returned the device I received correspondence from Aeon that they replaced the battery and it was holding a charge and that the problem was in my programming. (I followed verbatim the included instructions). So I requested a refund instead of replacement.I was not happy with the construction, poor documentation which may have made the battery drain quickly, and very poor customer service when I returned it asking for help. ### ⭐⭐⭐ this unit is not able to be upgraded like the non Key fob *by G***. on Reviewed in the United States on December 3, 2014* On my vera lite UI 7 I believe I am only able to use 4 buttons and not 8 and I had hoped. Perhaps I will find out how to get it to do 8. I am not using as often as I had thought and so that might be why it doesn't show up as a working device on my system. The battery is also down 10% after about a month or so. Perhaps taking the unit away from the house is causing that. One word of caution..this unit is not able to be upgraded like the non Key fob.
