It covered all the parts of the cart that my daughter loves to put her mouth and hands on. It looked like it fit well and stayed in place.Well I received it yesterday and made a trip to the store to try it out. It took me and my husband about 5 minutes to get it on the cart and even after all that, we couldn't figure out how to get the velcro on the sides to attach correctly. We are hoping it was just the kind of cart we had at that particular store. We will be trying it out at another store this weekend. Other than not being able to get the sides velcroed, it was fantastic. It is is big, thick and very comfortable. I only gave it four stars because it does not fit back into the little bag it comes in.I have only used it once on a shopping cart. I normally use it at restaurants. It works great for both uses. You can definitely put it on with one hand, but you need both hands to secure it after you've put baby in.
