This means that the water faucet is always on and the hose and splitter in always under pressure. When I first connected the splitter the female connector leaked badly. However, the splitter comes with extra washers. When I put a second washer in the female end and used a pair of plier's to tighten the connection just a little beyond hand tight, all leaking stopped. The splitter has been under pressure for more than 24 hours as of now and no leaks. ### ⭐ Plastic crap. Broke during first use. *by T***H on May 28, 2019* Looks heavy duty, do not be fooled.
