I also needed a strong contact cement that tacked up quickly which allowed me to glue up multiple surfaces without waiting too long for the glue to partially set. I've glued hundreds of items using this glue and it takes some practice with amounts and surface texture but it works great and dries to a clear flexible adhesive. I use large popsicle sticks to spread the glue on the surface to be glued, then I take the other material and gently place it on the surface and immediately remove it and let it dry a bit…about 30 seconds or so…enough so that it doesn't feel wet then you put your finger on it. After it tacks up I press the two surfaces together and gently press together. I really needs to dry overnight to completely set up and be careful what you put it on while it's drying. ### ⭐⭐ 2.0 out of 5 stars Any white glue works as well... *by R***K on Reviewed in the United States on July 28, 2018* I wanted to do a test of various glues vs. a hot wire cutter. Turns out, I had the same result as this stuff, elmers, mod podge, and scenic glue. The only one that didn't work too well was gorilla glue.
