This allows allows the return spring force to literally eject the keycap off of the stem if your finger slides off the edge bottom edge at the bottom of the key press.I've owned four other mechanical keyboards, and have not had this issue with any of them.I've attached a photo of one key that's about to pop itself off from pressing it a few times, and several other keycaps that have already ejected themselves.This is not a good start to the first 10 minutes of ownership. ### ⭐⭐ A little different keyboard layout. Not recommended. *by P***P on Reviewed in the United States on June 4, 2019* The keyboard has a "mechanical" sound and feel. However, keys are easily fell off. Additionally, the layout is a bit different than other keyboards, such as, the Backslash key is located next to the "double quote" key and Enter key, so when you hit Enter key, you will most likely hit the Backslash key (see photo). On other keyboards, the Backslash key is usually located under "Back Space" key, and above the Enter key.For phone and tablet holder, if you have thick case, it won't fit in.Also, I received the keyboard with keys fell off.2 stars for look and feel. Not recommended. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Sturdy - Bright - Only One Color Light (red) - Loud! - Compact *by K***E on Reviewed in the United States on January 11, 2019* This keyboard is super solid for the price. The illumination is very bright. Perfect for typing in the dark, or low light. That being said, as other reviews have noted, it is LOUD. ("How loud can a keyboard be?" I asked myself when ignoring those reviews.) LOUDER THAN YOU WOULD IMAGINE A KEYBOARD COULD BE. Like, so loud it would honestly wake up someone sleeping in the same room. It is SUPER haptic and "clicky" - and the space bar makes a doing-y spring sound. It feels quite like a manual typewriter. (I guess that's good for gamers?) Also: several reviews mentioned "white light" or "blue light" so I thought the "red" LED could be switched to white. It cannot. It is all-red-all-the time. You CAN change the brightness of the light. You can also create some groovy, flash-y light patterns using FN + PrtSc. (Why? Who needs this?) **NOT recommended for anyone prone to seizures.** It is also super COMPACT. At only 14 inches wide it is shorter than average 17 inch keyboards. Depth is 7 inches. Nice for a small desk or even lap tying. Note that it has NO "calculator number pad" on the right side, which helps shorten its width. Cell phone slot above the FN keys is handy. Overall, I am very pleased for the price. In a perfect world it would be a little (or a lot) quieter with a white/blue LED option. But for $22 I can't complain.
