I didn't have to take off the original KIA logo which is very difficult to do. I've tried it and it wasn't easy. With this product I just place this logo right over the existing KIA logo and it looks great; you can't even tell. The outer chrome around the logo is from the original logo underneath. This product literally covers only the KIA logo leaving the chrome around the logo below in view. Hopefully it'll stay in place and not fall off.
