Review: Great, except the crane. - This toy is sturdy and fun for my child except for the crane. The crane, which of course is his favorite part of the whole toy, is extremely flimsy. That is the only impediment to this toy living up to the usual standard of quality that Thomas Take and Play sets live up to. Review: Another good take n play set. - My two and a half year old loves this set. It folds up nicely for storage. Not much to it but still very enjoyable. ## Features - Sturdy die-cast construction - Magnets let you attach other engines or tenders - Works on Take-n-Play tracks - Helps develop gross motor skills, sensory skills & reasoning skills - Ships in Certified Frustration-Free Packaging ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B00IWHWJL6 | | Age Range Description | Kid | | Brand Name | THOMAS & FRIENDS | | Color | Green, Red | | Control Method | Touch | | Controller Type | manual/hand control | | Customer Reviews | 3.9 out of 5 stars 40 Reviews | | Educational Objective | Motor Skill | | Frame Material Type | Plastic | | Global Trade Identification Number | 00887961079340 | | Is Assembly Required | No | | Item Dimensions | 8 x 12 x 5 inches | | Item Weight | 2.1 Pounds | | Manufacturer | Fisher-Price | | Manufacturer Maximum Age (MONTHS) | 72.0 | | Manufacturer Minimum Age (MONTHS) | 36.0 | | Manufacturer Part Number | CHG31 | | Manufacturer Warranty Description | No Warranty | | Material Type | Plastic | | Model Number | CHG31 | | Not for Kids | No | | Operation Mode | Manual | | Other Special Features of the Product | Portable | | Power Source | Battery Powered | | Product Style | Modern | | Remote Included | No | | Scale | 1:64 | | Size | Medium | | Skill Level | Beginner | | Sub Brand | Thomas & Friends | | Subject Character | Sodor | | Theme | Cartoon | | UPC | 887961079340 | ## Images ![Thomas & Friends Take-n-Play, Skarloey at the Wharf - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/71CSI4Y4MrL.jpg) ![Thomas & Friends Take-n-Play, Skarloey at the Wharf - Image 2](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/61UspFbeXsL.jpg) ![Thomas & Friends Take-n-Play, Skarloey at the Wharf - Image 3](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/61yv6CUFFqL.jpg) ![Thomas & Friends Take-n-Play, Skarloey at the Wharf - Image 4](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/61iJ17hTHQL.jpg) ![Thomas & Friends Take-n-Play, Skarloey at the Wharf - Image 5](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/71mBkmYMsYL.jpg) ## Questions & Answers **Q: What is the age group for this item?** A: Ages 2 1/2 to 5 I would say. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great, except the crane. *by N***N on December 26, 2014* This toy is sturdy and fun for my child except for the crane. The crane, which of course is his favorite part of the whole toy, is extremely flimsy. That is the only impediment to this toy living up to the usual standard of quality that Thomas Take and Play sets live up to. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Another good take n play set. *by F***A on May 3, 2015* My two and a half year old loves this set. It folds up nicely for storage. Not much to it but still very enjoyable. ### ⭐ Very disappointing *by J***E on February 28, 2015* Although there was no picture of a box, I did expect it would come gift-boxed and it just came in a plain brown shipping box. There was no way it could be given for a gift. It didn't seem up to the standard of normal Fisher Price toys either which are sturdy. The bridge and turntable wouldn't stay together and kept falling apart. I paid $29.95 for it. That was way, way too much. --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.tn/products/9998062-thomas-and-friends-take-n-play-skarloey-at-the-wharf](https://www.desertcart.tn/products/9998062-thomas-and-friends-take-n-play-skarloey-at-the-wharf) --- *Product available on Desertcart Tunisia* *Store origin: TN* *Last updated: 2026-10-02*
