I bought this specifically for my neck. I’m at college and I needed something that was portable, wireless, and easy. This works PERFECTLY. I love the fact that it’s unscented (however, the smell of rice is dominant after 2 minutes in the microwave) because my neck pain usually mates well with headaches. Putting oils (I use Young Living’s “Deep Relief”, Lavendar, “RC”, and Peppermint) makes this the perfect relaxant. This has helped my neck pain tremendously if used regularly or when I need it most. For you period go-ers: I find the top part (supposed to wrap around the neck) is perfect for cramps and then the two side pieces pointing down towards toes relieves pressure from the uterus. This won’t cure anything, but it sure makes those cricks and cramps easier to manage.

I bought this for heating the neck area and also for the head when I have migraines. I love the weight of it, the fabric and the size. Took one star off because the lavender scent is way too strong. If I buy again I will buy the unscented version.

I had a very stiff neck so I used it on that twice. 75 seconds heat time per the directions and it lasted for several hours. It is a strong lavender smell which is one of the reasons I ordered it. It is quite weighty so it will not fall off your shoulders if you walk around with it on. You can pull up the back so it covers the back of your neck. The only thing I would like is the ability to somehow lightly dampen it for a moist heat. Otherwise it's perfect!

This works and smells great! I often get an achy, stiff neck and shoulders from my bra. I saw this in an ad, decided to get it and it works well! Its moist heat is soothing, especially in the winter months. Also, the smell is not overpowering. Just a subtle, soft aroma. Very relaxing!

I bought this for my friend who had extreme neck pain. Once she got help from her Dr this has helped her easy her discomfort. She loves the lavender scent. It feels a bit heavy which is nice and fits just right around her neck and upper shoulders. Really nice and comforting. One of the best gifts I've ever given.

I love this product, I have Fibromyalgia and my shoulders and neck stay stiff and in pain . When First got it I was afraid it would be like the rest starting out the gate... just don’t work!!... once heated up, took a shower, got a cup of tea and got relaxed... I was actually going to sleep... the lavender smell is great. The rice inside the unit holds the lavender freshness great.... I just wish it was a little less McGee to reach the middle of my back... Great product!!!!

Nice that it can be warmed in the microwave. Heats up nice. The aroma is kinda strange (is it actual lavendar leaves or artifical frangrance?). The biggest disappointment though is that it does not wrap or come together with a snap or some velcro. Its like you have to hold it in place if you want to do anything, even lying down. Will be returning for a product that attaches some way.

How did I ever manage without this item? So easy to use,you can even walk around with it on as it fits so snuggly to your beck & shoulder area. Almost immediate relief from a stiff neck & shoulder. So pleased .

I've followed the directions about how long to heat this for, but it wasn't enough. I have had to heat it repeatedly to get any warmth in it. From reading other reviews, I have added a bit of water in the microwave to ensure that it doesn't overheat and burn. I don't love the style of this one, it has a collar that comes up around the back of your neck but I would rather have the extra material in the length and have it come down further around the front of my shoulders. It feels a bit short, as if it's balancing on top of my shoulders.
