ECOTRIC 49" Harness Bar Compatible with 4-Point 5-Point 6-Point Seat Belts

Great bang for buck. I was wanting to install some 4-point harnesses to my BMW 335i E90, so I needed some sort of roll cage to mount the harnesses to. I wanted to still maintain my backseats, so welding a full roll cage to the frame in the back wasn’t an option. I found this mini roll bar and it works perfect for what I was looking for; maintains back seats, doesn’t take up a lot of room, stiffens the chassis, and allows for me to mount my harnesses. I was pleasantly surprised with the great build quality of the roll bar, it’s honestly very impressive for the price. It was also very easy and quick to install. Nice little mini-roll bar for only $80.

Honestly, I was a little skeptical about these, but it’s pretty good quality. I did have to bend the bracket a little bit. I just heated it up and bent them forward. I noticed the hardware they give you universal so it might not be long enough. All I did was used the factory bolts after the OEM seats and it was perfect. Mine mounted up no problems. I have my harness bolted into the ground till my new ones come in and I can use that harness bar to its full potential Definitely durable it doesn’t come with instructions, but it’s super easy to install tons of YouTube videos

Seemed fine but will not fit in a 1999-04 Mustang. Bar and supports are not long enough.

I installed this in my 1999 Subaru Impreza and was pleasantly surprised by how solid the main bar is. The welds look better than expected for the price, and once mounted to the factory seatbelt points the whole setup feels very ridged. I upgraded a few of the bar to chassis bolts to grade 8 hardware as some spacers and longer bolts were needed but the included hardware was decent. The biggest improvement is how the harnesses feel now. With the belts mounted at the correct height, there’s no more downward pressure on my shoulders, and freeway driving is noticeably more comfortable. I also noticed a small reduction in cabin vibration and harmonics after installation, likely from tying the B‑pillars together. Overall, great value for the money and a legit upgrade for anyone running harnesses in an older Impreza chassis.

Not good quality control. Angles are a bit off and needed to bend to fit.

Installed it in my R32 Skyline GTST and it fit great.

If I could rate it lower than1 star I would. Absolutely garbage! The main bar was damaged and scraped up, the smaller hoop that holds the belts in place was dented inwards, one of the rods had a eyelet with stuck threads that WOULD NOT come loose. No instructions at all for hardware and the hardware itself was the cheapest possible. DO NOT RECOMMEND

Have used in my Porsche but needed to modify to make work. Love it.
