Bought this after my cat (who has pica) chewed through the other type of wire protector that I bought. So far she has tried to chew on it a few times but hasn't even left a dent. Only reason I gave 4 stars is because it is VERY difficult to get the plastic onto the wires. Otherwise, it has been working great for protecting my wires AND my cat from her crazy self

Easy to put on cords. After putting on my cords, my one dog seems not as interested in chewing. I did wrap the adhesive wrap used as a preventative measure to keep dogs from chewing their woods (has light cayenne pepper) paired with the cord wraps to snug up the cords. I think both of these together work wonderful as cord protection

Used the protector for 2, 16 gauge 2 wire ripcords on a pull along 15 gallon weed spray trailer . Simple to install wires in cover: simply compress cover with one hand while pushing wires into the cover with the other. Covered 8 feet in less that 3 minutes. Only test now is to find out how long it will last in the weather.

Effective but a pain in the *** to apply. This ate up my fingers terribly trying to inch along to get wire in. I finally had to get out my letter opener and slide it slowly along inside to get anything to go in... Is it effective, so far so good... my kitten seems less interested but still plays with it because... she's a kitten! So three stars for eating up my fingernails and cuticles. Effectiveness so far so good.

Excellent product, protects my extension cord to the Bird Aviary from squirrels and rodents and weather, and the birds can't seem to chew through it either. Good Product, easy to load the cord into the housing.

The mice like to chew thru my electric cords in my shop. Hope this stops them.
