Obsolete TV no longer obsolete
Having this rhinocables Shielded Scart Cable coupled with a DIGITNOW! HDMI to SCART Converter Adaptor allowed me to continue using my old television. Upon installation of an updated tv service, I was told I needed to buy a new tv that had a HDMI port. After a little research I found this adaptor and a connecting lead that saved me an expensive purchase. The connection was easy and the old "obsolete" tv is working fine.

It works!
After reading the seven answers to my question "Will this work with my old Sony TV" (over 10 years old) and managing to find my old Sony instruction manual I decided at that cheap price it was worth a try. The Scart cable arrived today and with only a little fumbling around I managed to fit the cable into the dvd/tv and it works! Not bad for an 81 year old technically challenged broad! Seriously, I do thank all the helpful people who answered my question. Joan

Reasonable lead for the price.
Does what it says on the tin. I found it worked, so that was the important thing. The review asked me to rate 'Sheerness'. I can find no such thing related to scart cables online!!!!
