I recently purchased this cork yoga mat and I’m honestly so impressed. The mat lays completely flat right out of the box, no annoying curling edges which makes a huge difference in my practice. The cork surface feels incredibly smooth yet it still provides excellent grip for both my hands and feet. One of my favorite features is how well it grips the floor. It stays securely in place without sliding around, so I feel stable and supported the entire time. The extra length is also a big plus, I never feel like I’m running out of space or stepping off the mat (there’s even room for my long hair lol). The mandala design is absolutely beautiful!! It adds such a calming, aesthetic touch that makes me actually look forward to using it. Overall, this mat feels high quality, functional, and visually stunning. Highly recommend! It is on the heavier side but I found myself doing bicep curls with it just for fun and for the workout.

This is one beautiful mat, and very padded! Great for your knees and wrists. I have sweaty palms at all time and even more so if I start sweating, so I need a very grippy mat. This seems so far to absolutely meet my needs!!! I'm not sliding at all in any poses. I love the slight smell of it! It is one very long may, that's for sure! I knew it was going to be heavy, the item weight was stated and I really don't mind it, even to bring it around to yoga classes. But I guess if you're looking for something light, that's not it. This mat quality, comfort, grip and size totally make it worth the price.

This is my second cork mat. The first was a 24"x72" 5mm thick matt that I have used for the last year and a half plus. It has been a great mat and is the reason I decided to purchase another cork mat. After researching new matts and seeing all the great reviews of this one I made my choice. The Body by Yoga matt is exceeding my expectations. The noticeably thicker and higher quality cork surface is smooth and has excellent grip. I do a lot of hot yoga and the matt can get quite wet. No problem with this matt, the damper it gets the more it grips. The extra thickness is really nice. Most thick matts are spongy and just don't feel stable. This is the exception. The base is firm yet gives extra padding and support in poses on the knees or poses where the ankles take some pressure like frog. No spongy give when in balance poses like tree or warrior III. The extra inches are great as well. I was constantly having to readjust even on my old 72" matt as my feet or head were just at the edge of the matt. This has cured that issue. The rubber backing rolls out flat as advertised. No curling or rolling up when you head into practice. The NEW odor of the matt was gone in about a day so no breathing of synthetic rubber chemicals for days after purchase. Overall this is a great matt. Highly recommended for anyone, especially those who prefer cork and are looking for a new and better matt. The full 1 year warranty when registering is a great comfort. I don't anticipate any durability issues with this matt as my old lower quality cork matt held up for a long time but it's great to know that these people have my back if I have any issues with the matt. At $90 it's not cheap but if it lasts twice a long and is safer, more comfortable and helps to improve your practice how can you argue with paying a bit more? It's a no brainer in my opinion.

This yoga mat is everything and more! I do hot yoga about 5 times a week. It holds up to the sweat and grit I put this mat through not to mention it’s extremely sturdy, no slip and just grip! I have sensitive knees and joints and this mat is also thick and luxurious. Finally a mat that is worth every penny.

Wonderful mat but the chemical smell is not going away. I’ve owned this mat for over two years, 25.5 months to be exact. I have used it both inside and outdoors. The smell is very counterintuitive to deep breathing, either during yoga or breath work, because it doesn’t feel healthy to breath these chemicals! I even have to store it in a larger space in the house because in a single bedroom, the chemicals just take over. What I do love about it is cork; great for sustainability, and the markings on the mat that help me center poses. I am hoping that the company will really look into how to use products that don’t produce such a toxic smell.

This is one of the only mats I could find that was extra long/wide, made with cork, and had alignment lines. I have been using the mat daily for the past couple of weeks and really like using it for my practice. I have heard that people thought the mat had slip issues but if you properly wet the mat beforehand (or are super sweaty like me) it’s not an issue at all. Even though the mat is thicker than most, the thicker layer or cork helps it feel more form and stable while not crushing your hands and knees. The mat is very heavy compared to other mats So just don’t plan on taking this thing on a hike with you or anything. A few knocks I have against the mat a) for the price, I felt that it should have at least come with a cheap strap b) although the thicker cork makes the user experience much nicer, I have noticed that the edges can chip kind of easily if you aren’t careful unrolling the mat (which can be difficult due to the weight of the mat). So i am curious how it will hold up over the long run C) I am not a huge fan of the image in the center of the mat and wish they offered other design options for the full alignment mat. Overall— if you are looking for a good quality, larger cork yoga mat, I don’t think you can go wrong with this product. It also comes with some additional discounts on some of their other products. I have yet to purchase any but I am a big fan of Dean’s free man flow yoga videos on YouTube (definitely should check them out)

I am in love with this mat! As a plus size practioner, I found my cheaper mat stretching when I was in downward dog, and was afraid it would rip and drop me ony head. This mat makes me feel nice and secure! The natural rubber is nice and dense. The cork is soft and non-slip, even when sweaty. The mat rolls out nice and flat. And I feel like it is just the right amount of extra room to accommodate my larger frame without standing out too much. And the warranty makes me feel better about investing a little extra.

Bought for my boyfriend, he loves it. Best birthday gift!

I hesitated paying this much for a yoga mat, but the moment I took it out of the box, I could tell it was worth every penny. This is not a yoga mat, it is a yoga yacht. Nice heft (this isn’t a travel mat), probably best for home use, though you could lug it to class. Generous proportions, it helped me redefine my yoga space. Firm but cushioned, very stable and comfortable whether you’re balancing on one leg or laying across your knee. The lines make transitions a breeze and inspire you to go deeper and rediscover the poses. The right balance of grip and slip, no need to manage messy towels regardless the temperature and humidity level. Smells good too. After a long period of sloth, I’m motivated to recommit to my practice simply by wanting to spend time on this mat.
