Urban Moonshine Original Digestive Bitters - Debloat - Gut Health - 8 Fl Oz

Using this product has really helped my digestion - from stomach to (well, you know.) When taking a little bit of these bitters in a few ounces of water, or my favorite, limeade, I do experience a noticeable improvement in my digestion. Heaver food does not feel like it's just sitting in my stomach, making me feel bloated. I feel normal (or empty, but not feeling hungry) a short time after eating. It has also help with regularity and I have experienced an improvement in irritable bowel syndrome. My husband can't usually eat onions or bell peppers because they cause uncomfortable gas for him; however, when he takes these bitters just before eating he experiences no discomfort or gas at all. Urban Moonshine makes high quality products that are very authentic. I can't say enough good things about them. As to the taste - I didn't find it that terribly "bitter" or offensive at all. As I said, mixed in a couple of ounces of water or some sort of juice works good for us. That being said, some people are going to find the bitter taste horrible. BUT - that bitter taste is why it works so well to improve digestion. Because digestion starts in the mouth, and that bitter taste is sending signals to the rest of the digestive system to gear up and get ready. Actually, most people I talked to that faithfully gave it a go for two or three weeks actually came to look forward to taking them, and missed the effect they had when they didn't take it. I hope others will give bitters a try and experience the positive benefits as we have.

This product tastes awful!! Wait, what's that? Oh, it's supposed to. In that case, it's great! In all seriousness, it's not that bad tasting. As long as you don't have an overactive sweet tooth and are used to eating things that don't taste super sweet, you'll be able to deal with this without any problem. It's great to use after a meal, so your body knows that the meal is over. When you eat something sweet after eating, your body will just crave more. This product prevents that. The most important thing is to realize that this product won't do everything alone, you'll need to curb your sugar consumption in the first place. After you do that, you may actually enjoy the taste of bitters (I do). The price might seem high, but you're not going to down the whole bottle in one sitting. It will last a long time with regular use. As you build up tolerance to the taste, you might just try taking a shot of it...but I wouldn't recommend it! Just go slow and increase the amount you put in over time. I started off with a quarter of a teaspoon in a cup of water and worked up to taking a teaspoon or two straight. It's a great product that assists the digestion process.

It helps me very much. I use it ever day with every meal. It is expensive. For me it’s totally worth it.

I have become so dependent on this product, I really pray and hope this product/Company does very well, its such a simple, genuine product. Firstly, I have tried hcl supplements before this and they’re no match to this product. Ever since I’ve tried this product, I have had no issues related to digesting foods. Prior to using this product, I had so many health issues like dizziness (due to gas built up from undigested foods in the intestines), nutrient deficiencies regardless of a healthy/balanced diet, I’d be burping some food from the day before at the worst times if I had any hard to digest foods.. only after I started using this product, I realized that most of my health issues were related to low stomach acid levels. If this is of any help to the ppl reading this review, one thing I can tell is - a vast majority of issues like GERD, gut related, anxiety, nutrient deficiencies, even H Pylori could all be related to low stomach acid levels. Also, from what I have read/understood, it is chronic stress that can lead to drastically low levels of stomach acid/HCL. I suggest practicing meditation or exercising regularly to keep your stress levels in check, for the long term solution :)

To me, the taste is fine. But I eat a lot of different things and am used to bitter tastes. I’ve only been using it for a week before and after meals, so the jury is out on whether it has any effects for my health. I purchased the larger size, and the dispenser for it is quite poor. It is messy. Often the drops go somewhere other than into the half teaspoon measure I’m using. It also doesn’t drip at a consistent rate. I’ll probably have to decant it into a smaller bottle and use a dropper. Ultimately I think this is extremely expensive for what it is. I ordered a batch of bitter Swedish herbs from another Amazon listing and will make my own bitters for a fraction of the cost.

One of my favorite products. I've tried many other brands of bitters but Urban Moonshine is always the one i come back to. I feel it works well in helping with calming my stomach after eating. I've bought this numerous times and will keep coming back for more

This stuff has changed my life. My GI dr put me on PPI and said I’ll be on it for the rest of my life to relive the acid reflux. But these “original bitters” got me off of the PPI. And I haven’t had to return to the PPI. Order these! I recommend them to everyone who has acid reflux.

You can't get better bitters than these for digestion. Pure ingredients and just a great product.

I like this product a lot. I recently went on a bit of a spree buying different bitters brands, many of the bigger names, but this is the one I prefer most out of all of them.
