I was looking for a bench to place between my shower and bathtub - most were a little on the large side. This one fit the bill perfectly with great build and wonder value for the money. It was super easy to assemble - high quality components. It is exactly what I needed without breaking the bank at some high-end furniture store. It certainly would work well outside - just don't expect to sit more than two people on it. As for comfort, it's a bench! I suppose one could place cushions on it to make it more luxurious. I am happy with my purchase.

Perfect size for in front of widow for plants. Decent quality, sturdy. Finish a bit rough, but not unacceptable. A simple coat of urethane would fix that…. Overall very satisfied with purchase.

This bench arrived in perfect condition. There are 4 legs that attach at each corner with 2 screws and 2 washer for each leg. I didn’t require the instruction steps with diagram as it’s very obvious and simple task. I easily used my drill with the Allen wrench drill bit to attach each leg quickly (I have arthritis). It is sturdy and a great deal for only $50 on sale (holds 330lbs max weight). I did see a rather pathetic one star review where the buyer installed the legs inside the corners instead of outside the corners incorrectly which looked absolutely ridiculous. Highly recommend the bench for front porch entry, patio (plant stand) or even in a large shower. Excellent value.

This was the first of a pair of teak benches I ordered for our small front entry porch. The 2nd bench was late, came in damaged carton several days later and with problems in fastening on legs (due to missing metal threads in several pre-drilled holes. But this 1st bench was fine and went together with only a little effort. The top is slatted for drainage because teak is a wood for outdoor use (also boats) as long as it is oiled once in awhile. Assembly was fastening on the 4 legs. Screws, etc. were included. Our front porch is about 6 feet wide and maybe 8 feet deep nook, and I place this bench on one wall out of the way of the storm door that opens outwards. I placed the 2nd bench outside the covered porch on the edge of the sidewalk leading to the door. So far, so good...a place to sit for putting on or removing shoes or for a delivered package, or for the dog leash or umbrella...or just for sitting 'a spell' to enjoy a chat with a neighbor. This house did not have a proper porch, so the benches are a sort of substitute. My opinion is that every home should have a front porch for a couple of chairs.

Update: I ordered three more of these - even with the problem I had with the first bench arriving broken since they are easy to assemble and the perfect size. All of them arrived damaged!!!!!! Its too bad, because this would be a 5-star review if virtually every item I have received has required me to hire a handyman to fix them. Customer service finally did contact me and said they couldn't do anything except return the entire item. They couldn't reimburse the cost of repair - but would pay to ship three very heavy benches back to them! I still love the bench, but this company has serious quality control issues if all benches are damaged in shipping. I'm surprised Amazon allows them to continue.... but then again, I love the bench in spite of everything. ---------------------------------- Original Review. The bench arrived with great packing. An outer Amazon box and then the original Furinno box - so it was not damaged in shipping. The bench had two cross-supports loose in the box. You can see in the photos, that they seem to have been glues at some point and it looks like they were forced from their original position by some tool that left a mark. Email to [email protected] link from their website has gone unanswered. I've checked junk mail every day to see if it ended up there, but nothing! I'll keep the bench since it is just what I need - and will pay my handyman to repair the bench. But there is no excuse for sending damaged furniture that someone had to know was damaged since they threw the two loose parts into the box. Too bad, since the bench is great and easy to assemble. Just be aware that quality control and customer service don't seem to be important to this company.
