Will my compass be covered in mold?

Mine came in with mold on it. The case and the compass look neat; however, mine did not work indoors and I did not take it outside. I would not recommend this item to anyone.

Hi, received it today. Love the look of it but it doesn't work. Supposed to work right?

I bought 2 for my grand son to go with the pirates chest I made for the gss both work some people got the compass said the cover was.touching the needle causeing the compass not to work check that out see if that's the problem I hope this helps
