112-1653J 500-Feet 12 Solid THHN, Red

Good wire, I didn't get the best deal by buying it in this small roll, but I didn't need a lot, so this was sufficient. I stuffed this and a white and black wire of the same 12 gauge through a 1/2" flexible outdoor conduit, It was not easy. Eventually I twisted all three together, added some tape to make a point and lubed that end and it worked a lot better. Nothing bad to say about it at this point.

I'm adding 3 circuits to my kitchen and running wires thru metal conduit. This stuff has a tough slick, double covering that works well. However the shipping package was POOR and the plastic spool came broken from slamming around in the bo - a 500 foot spool of this is too darned heavy to just throw in a box- and the box itself was pretty battered. Its been a bit of a hassle handling the wire on the broken spool. I believe its USA made and that is tops w me.

The wire itself is fine but the spool arrived without the factory wrapping shown, instead covered by sloppy stretch cellophane wrapping. The wire coils were loose on the spool and did not fill the spool as new spools usually are. It appears this spool had been opened and quite a bit of wire taked off it, then rewrapped. No time to return it so was used as is. Amazon needs to improve their QC on returns they intend to resell. Sell what you show, please.

The wire itself is good. The cheap plastic spool it wrapped on came broken in 6 pieces. If I'd was a metal spool I would have rated it 5 stars.

Received this today and was very disappointed in the packaging. The real containing the wire was broken after packaging, so now it will be more difficult unwinding it when installing the new wire. It was delivered in an envelope and not a box like the other wire I purchased. Other than that wire is as advertised.

I bought a few spools of this to run ground wires to some electrical outlets in my house. It was built in the 40's and very few of the outlets were grounded. This was exactly what I needed, and so far so good.

Wire was exactly what I expected. What I didn’t expect was the roll holding the wire to be all busted up by the mail. Didn’t effect the wire but still sad.

Nice compact roll of wire. It pulls easily. But I had difficulty getting it off of the spool due to damage sustained in transit.

I had purchased so many of this type of wire from this seller that I lost count. The quality of this wire is top notch.

The wire itself is great however the small spools that the wire is on means the wrap is very tight and thus it is harder to un-spool. The core of the spool is only about 1" in diameter which is quite small for a 12 Gauge wire to wind on.

Product is working very well. I am very happy I made the choice in ordering this product.

I had to return these as My electrician wanted to use PVC insulated on top. But great thickness and good quality.

Wire quality was very good and was slightly longer than desired length which was great. Sadly, I was doing a project where I needed to color match the existing wire and this "red" wire was actually a dull plum color. Couldn't justify keeping it, despite the quality of the wire. Would order again if color wasn't a concern or I just needed a non-specific color like black. No stars deducted as most people wouldn't care and would be very happy with the item.
