Dec 2nd - Started burning this in the office everyday. It will make it to month end. Everyone comments that it smells like Christmas. Love it burns evenly with no soot. Have not needed to trim the wicks. Great value!

As I got a faux Christmas tree last year, I knew I would really miss the scent associated with a real tree. I got this candle to fill the house with the scent. Unfortunately, the fragrance is a bit too sweet. The candle wax melts rather quickly and turns a sooty green. Maybe the wicks are over-sized for the candle so the wax is overheated? I found some tree-scented tea lights that are a better substitute than this candle turned out to be.

I'm beyond picky about scents. I bought an expensive soy candle for the holidays about 2 years ago and had an allergic reaction to it every time that I lit it. Finally, I threw it out. I won't even shop in stores that blast fake odors in some misguided attempt to attract customers. So when I say that the fragrance of this candle is utterly delightful, Village Candle has done an exceptional job. The pine is exquisite, giving my living room the fresh scent of the holiday season. The defusing balance is perfect with no overwhelming effect. The color is a rich green, making the candle appropriately festive and attractive. I trim all 3 wicks each time before relighting, and so far have had no issues with the glass burning black. I will most definitely be buying more candles from Village and I cannot recommend this pine one highly enough.

I love the smell and it lasts a few hours. The color and the value for money are great and it works well to make your room smell nice but not overwhelming.

I typically fill my home with Bath & Body Works' Fresh Balsam candles during the holidays and winter months. The scent fills my entire house, and guests frequently comment how delicious it smells. Unfortunately, there must have been a run on these candles this year, because I haven't been able to find them anywhere after the early holiday season. I decided to give this Yankee candle a try as a replacement. It literally has no scent. Nothing. It had no scent from the initial opening of the lid when it arrived, to the numerous times I've burned it since. I'm continuing to burn it simply for the visual of a burning candle, but I will never purchase it again. It was a waste of money.

The candle arrived intact but the lid was off and the candle edges were smeared. But after cleaning it up and lighting it it is beautiful. It smells pleasant and light - but throughout the whole room. Not cloying but very pleasant - just like I want Christmas to smell. Love this brand!

Love the smell

Absolutely no scent - wasted my money. I have tried this candle four times and get no scent. Could be Amazon sent me very old stock, but I do know this....I would never buy again. I buy candles from Bath & Body and they are wonderful. They haven't brought in their winter scents yet so I got ahead of myself and ordered this one. BIG MISTAKE. Village Candles needs to replace or Amazon needs to refund the money - I'M SERIOUS.
