Great gauge way better than the harbor freight version
Let me tell you I've taught my girlfriend to change and rotate her tires while I change the oil on her Subaru. This gauge matches exactly was what is on the tire pressure gauge on the inside of the car. Makes me thrill she can fill them up and not have to go back and forth seven times to make everything match. I hope it lasts for a while it looks like it's pretty decent material. But we change and rotate tires every 6,000 mi so it will get used. I like the functionability about it it stays on the tire stem without leaking. I just worry about the battery leaking since it gets super hot in the garage and then super cold in the winter time so we may have to circumvent that and take the battery out.

Finally!
For years I have dealt with an older style that was hard to read normally, impossible to read in the dark and sometimes even wouldn't let go of the tire valve. It was a NAPA unit that was supposedly 'commercial'. Well, this tool took care of those problems and went even farther, connecting solidly with little effort. It feels like an authentic unit and gives you instant readings that are easy to see. To top that off, it comes with a number of good quality accessories. Ultimately, I'm happy with the whole setup! Money well spent as far as I'm concerned.

AstroAI ATG250 Digital Tire Inflator: A Pressure Cooker with a (Slight) Leak
In the realm of tire inflators, the AstroAI ATG250 Digital Tire Inflator is much like a runner who's just missed out on a podium finish - it delivers an excellent performance, yet there's something holding it back from being a complete champion. At first glance, the ATG250 comes across as a veritable knight in shining armor, ready to rescue your deflated tires. Its rugged aesthetic and heavy-duty rubber hose appear built to weather a storm, and its 0.1 Display Resolution delivers precision readings like an overachieving honor student. In operation, the ATG250 certainly knows how to maintain its composure under pressure - quite literally. Its 250 PSI Air Chuck makes inflating tires feel as satisfying as sipping a perfectly brewed coffee. Quick Connect Coupler? Yes, indeed, and a match made in heaven for an impromptu tire inflating session at the crack of dawn. However, just like that coffee might be a tad too hot, the ATG250 has its minor foibles. The digital pressure gauge, while exceptionally accurate, seems to have a mind of its own when it comes to turning on and off. It's a bit like trying to control a petulant child with a sugar rush - manageable but requires some patience. All said and done, the AstroAI ATG250 Digital Tire Inflator gets a solid four stars. Despite its minor glitch, it holds its own in the gladiator arena of tire inflators and can handle your PSI needs with finesse. So, if you can overlook the temperamental digital gauge, this might be your next road-trip buddy!

Pinpoint accuracy inflation and durable
I have had this for months now with occasional use. I love it. I wasn’t used to the clip on filler feature at first bit it works great on car stems with clearance and equipment stems that are angled. The ones it doesn’t seal 100% is no big deal I just hold it on like usual. It is very accurate and even enough flow to seat beads when necessary. I did put on the HF high flow inlet side fittings just to make sure and speed things up a little. Battery life is good and I am very glad to have pinpoint accuracy with the deflation push valve on the side. I have dropped it twice with no problems. My only input negative I wish it had a hanging loop for my pegboard wall but I put up a split fork type bracket and it fits just fine.

One of my best Amazon purchases EVER.
First... I have been a car nut for years... my first car in 1965, a 'gear head' all of those years. Rallies, autocross, track events, concours... all things automotive. Have rebuilt engines, restored cars... just some background on how car crazy I am and my experience... This is the best instrument for inflating tires I've ever had. Adjusting g pressures is almost fun. One note about accuracy... hard to quantify. Very close (less than a half pound difference) with a large diameter Intercomp gauge I own (at 30 pounds pressure). The big deal is how easy to use... the hose attaches very well to stem of tire, and stays put thru the entire operation (used to be a pain to maintain a good seal, when inflating and checking pressure). Low?... press lever to add air... high? Press button to release air. No more adding air, switching to gauge and back. So simple... I checked air in all three of our cars, the golf cart and the riding mower! It is a pleasure to use. Automatically turns on when pressure is detected. Nice having read out in tenths of a pound. A very good product in my mind. And a very reasonable price... going to get another for my other compressor!

Great, but chuck leaks for me
I have an AstroAI tire pump that is magnificent. It came with a lock-on chuck, which is like a toggle. It locks tight every time. No leaks. I was tired of push-on tire pressure gauges that slip. I thought I would get this device mainly to use a tire pressure gauge for passenger vehicles. The gauge is beautiful. The chuck however is clip-on rather than lock-on. I just could not get a good seal. I saw other reviews that mention the same. I liked the gauge so much that I wanted to keep it. I found that the AstroAI chucks are sold as parts. However some reviews mention leaks as well. Sadly, I’m returning this very nice gauge. I will still call it five star, as it is possible that the leaking is a user error.

Great Value; Well Made
I purchased this tire pressure gauge in early 2021 and believe I have used it long enough to write a review. I have had zero issues with this gauge despite heavy use (for a homeowner, not a mechanic) on cars, trucks, bikes and soccer balls, use in hot summers and temperatures well below zero degrees. The lighted display is bright and easy to read. I have had to replace the batteries only twice in the last four years, which is better than most electronic tools I have. As other reviewers have noted: the pressure read-out shows the inflation pressure when adding air - NOT the tire's actual pressure - and you must release the fill lever to see the true tire pressure. Adding more air, or releasing air via the release button, is very simple. This is NOT a defect; it is how pressure gauges work. If this tire pressure gauge ever fails, I will update this review (and buy a replacement, because I think it is well worth the money).

Excellent quality, accurate gauge, batteries last a long time
Bought this 5 years ago. Use it every 2-3 months or so for car and bike tires. Excellent quality, solidly built. Coin battery lasted 5 years before needing replacement! Gauge is accurate (+/- 0.5 psi) when compared to a high quality analog gauge. Turns on automatically when it senses air pressure. Would definitely buy again. Using this is WAY easier than guessing without a gauge, then using a hand gauge or running to the dashboard and waiting to see the pressure change. Note: As pressure in your air tank goes down, this will sometimes read out a variable pressure when you are holding the lever down due to reduced differential pressure. You must stop dispensing and wait half a second for an accurate reading of pressure in your tire.

Impressed with high quality, heavy duty and nicely designed pressure gauge
BACKGROUND AND QUICK SUMMARY: Over the last couple of years, I have bought many automobile accessories from Astro AI and I am always impressed with high quality of their products, simple but smart and intuitive design, reliability of their products and fair pricing. I have tried, tested and bought myself many ASTRO AI products such as Tire Gauges, Air Compressor, Snow Brush and Multimeter. This is my second purchase of Astro AI Digital Tire Inflator with Pressure Gauge. First one was Blue finish and it was so good that my brother took it from me. I purchased Golden finish this time just for the change. Before buying my blue one, I have purchased at least 3 tire gauges earlier and they were less accurate, flimsy and not that great quality. Since I bough Astro AI ATG250 Digital Tire Inflator with Pressure Gauge, I have not looked back. It is high quality, sturdy and solidly built, impressively designed and has some of the great useful features. DESIGN AND FEATURES: Package includes includes an inflation gun, chuck, gauge, hose, and bleed valve, all in one unit and other accessories (needle, cone adapter). 2 AA batteries required are also included. I liked the overall design and rather than filling a tire, check the pressure, adjust pressure, check pressure, and repeating over and over again this design allows to simply fill the tire to the exact pressure that I want. First of all, accuracy is most important aspect for tire gauge and I can say that this gauge is very accurate. The first thing I can notice about this gauge is its weight. This gauge uses high quality stainless steel and brass which makes it heavy duty inflator gauge that can withstand up to an incredible 250 PSI. The rubber hose is insulated and extra thick. All parts feels heavy, well constructed and sturdy. Chucks are made from heavy duty brass and fits perfectly and locking mechanism works well. If chuck does not provide proper tightness or seal, you can also use twist-on air chuck (included). This gauge has huge range from 0 to 250 PSI which will work for cars, trucks or any other vehicle. I also use it for bicycles, motorcycle, soccer balls, inflatable boats etc. LED backlight screen shows measurement in PSI, KPA, Bar, and Kg/cm². LED backlight can be turned ON or OFF. One of the feature I love about this item is built-in air bleed valve to quickly decrease pressure in overinflated tires. Also I like the lever on hand grip which is when released will stop inflating the tire. 1/4” NPT connection works with all the compressors without any issues. Gauge turns automatically OFF after 20 seconds of inactivity to save battery. FINAL THOUGHTS: Overall, I am impressed with high quality, heavy duty and nicely designed pressure gauge from Astro AI. Highly Recommneded!

Okay, but that air chuck is too large to be practical!
Bought Sept 2020- wanted it to keep in the truck to accurately measure the airbag pressure at the on board shrader valves. Did ok. It lets out 5 PSI though each test, oddly. The air chuck adapter that comes with it is HUGE- why so large? It made it really hard to get into the rims to test the car wheels, even with 20" rims on the truck, I had to bend the valves outwards so the check that is on this unit would fit onto the valve. I replaced with a smaller, 90 degree chuck. You have to turn this on before using- I had another one (neighbour used, lost, hence I got this one to replace), that would automatically turn on when there was pressure in the chuck/hose. Mine never came with the 3 ends shown in the picture- the 2 nozzles and needle, nope. It did come with 4 caps, teflon tape, valve remover, and the quick connect already screwed in, and, the batteries already installed. Maybe this was a return from someone else? Not a big deal. Ended up putting this one in the garage for car/trailer use. Will find something else for the airbags.

Great gauge and inflator with one little issue...
Use of the gauge is great as I can fill and measure with one connection. Note that when you inflate and stop you might need to give the gauge a second to settle down on the reading (perfectly acceptable and to be expected). Accuracy is good as well as it matches to .1 decimal with my portable digital gauge. The one star loss ono "Easy to Use" is being a little picky for what might not be a real issue to most. The unit is very rugged built in every aspect. This includes the valve stem connector which is a little thicker than what might work on some wheels. Note that I would not expect this to be an issue for most wheels but if things are already tight with the tire stem it might be a problem.

Works well
Good tool to have, makes tire inflation a breeze. Doesn't function in the cold. Changing tires in the fall (3-10 C) causes unit to stop functioning, needed to be brought back inside every 5-10 min.
