"Old Reliable" is what I call this garlic press!
OK. I don't actually call it that, but since I typically take years to post reviews to see how well purchases stand the test of time, and in this case it's been 4.5 years since purchase, I'm going to stick with that. Review: simply a great item. Minces and slices with easy but I could see how someone with hand strength problems may have a problem operating this device. The cleaning sheet is great and it still sits where it belongs. After using the sheet, I rarely need to use the brush. Also, still have the silicone tube in perfect condition and it works pretty good. Removes about 90% of the skin over the period of ownership. The only notable difference, and it is not performance-based, is the color fade on the handles from repetitive use. A bit of the luster is lost but functionally, still a dynamo. Cheers.

Perfect for Powerful Chef Hands
Chef Hulk take two! Plastic gadgets even though they are great for me, they are not good enough for my Chef. Finding out how powerful his squashing grip is and the pile of unrepairable pieces in the utensil drawer, I have replaced them all now with Metal ones. He really likes this one, not just because of his fear of Vampires and using Garlic in EVERYTHING! and yes, I mean everything, this allows him to mince or slice with absolute ease! The cleanup is super easy for me as well, yes being married to a Chef it is my duty to clean up at home after him, at work he cleans and all his staff goes to me, "Oh he must be an absolute joy at home, he cleans so well, you must love having a clean Kitchen!" Well yes, I do love having a clean and organized Kitchen, but because he does it at work, at home here it falls on my lap, and cleaning his gadgets, well lets just say, its super nice when its easy, and this one is easy, and it comes with these cool little tools to help. Highly recommend this!

Excellent multi purpose tool
Great garlic press, slicer, and roller. The slicing slot saved us hours of slicing our garlic crop for dehydrating. I'm not sure if I'd use it on one or two cloves as it was arduous to clean. The grooves for the slicer are tall, which accommodate a good-sized clove and as such, are difficult to clean. Both times, it took me about 3-4 minutes to ensure that all the garlic was out (rinsing alone with not clear it). It does come with a handy plastic cleaning tool that conveniently clips to the inside of the handle. I wish the blades were a little thinner as it squeezed quite a bit of garlic juice out. The inventive little roller does a superb job of getting the skin off the clove. The press/slicer is very sturdy. It is similar to the press I am replacing (only one spot needed in our utensil drawer!) which has already lasted over 20 years. I saw a similar item on a different website for twice the cost - at $12.99 it is a bargain.PROSTime-saver for slicing garlic.Two-in-one tool (slices and presses) saves drawer space.Handy cleaning tool that clips inside handle.Roller removes skin in seconds - no longer dealing with sticky garlic skin clinging to your hands.Very sturdy; reminiscent of a press that has already lasted me 20+ years.Price is excellent.CONSThe slicer is hard to clean. This is also a plus because it accommodates a good-size garlic clove. The blades could be thinner so less of the garlic is pressed. This may also be a plus as it probably contributes to the overall sturdiness.Yes, I recommend this product (and no, nobody paid me anything or gave me anything for free - how do I make that happen?).

Good thing to minced and slice garlic.

Saves a lot of time.
Great, does what it says. Not a cheaply made kitchen tool at all. Very well-made.

Does the job but it's a pain to clean. Cheaper and better options out there.
The product is built super well and is essentially a solid piece. the only thing that could ever really break are the blades on the slicer part. This unibody design makes it an absolute chore to clean. It's impossible to get your fingers down in the holes to pick the skin out and everyone reading this knows how sticky fresh cut garlic is. The same issues go with the slicer. The press part of it is inverted so garlic gets stuck up in there and once again it's impossible to clean properly. There must have been so many complaints about how hard it was to clean so they started adding that little black plastic cleaning tool you see in the photos and video. That did not come with mine and just watching the video you can see it's going to be super hard to really clean with soap and a rag.My second big gripe about this press and many like it is that the hinge for the handle is so low that you will be lucky to be able to fit one big piece of garlic in it since the plunger needs to be half way into the channel before it's fully seated. Also the tolerances aren't great and garlic will squeeze around the plunger. For the retail price of 16ish dollars it's just not worth it when you can get much easier to clean and better designed presses for half the cost. My fav cheap press is the IKEA 365+ VÄRDEFULL. It's great and so easy to clean.

Finally got a mincer!
I have been needing a garlic mincer for a while and just never got around to it. I was just shredded it as it works similar, but when I started cooking more I needed to do this more often and I was like nope, getting a mincer. This works great, it also slices too if you ever need it. it isn't hard to press down and mince the garlic, so no grip issues. Its not 100% easy to clean. Yes it has that brush but when you have this thing under the sink faucet, the water pressures works better than anything else. that brush works better once it is dry and maybe you find something you missed. The little rubber cone it comes with to help peel garlic works pretty good. I was skeptical but it worked! it does not peel the whole outer wrapping off, but it does loosen it to the point where you easily pull it off. That alone is worth the money because I LOATHE peeling garlic cloves, it is a pain in the ass. Note about this though, maybe sure you are rolling it on the counter surface. I was on my chopping board service at first and it just couldn't get the right traction (it was a glass cutting board). once I put it on the counter it worked perfectly.

Crushes garlic with room for improvements
I bought two of these to replace a Pampered Chef garlic press that grew legs. (One for a second household.) Looking at pictures and reading reviews, this seemed like a great alternative/replacement. It does the job, and fairly well. We use them several times a week to crush garlic, but have yet to use the slicer. The slicer seems like a good idea, but in practice, it gets in the way when you have a lot of crushing to do, as the presser head/plunger must be lined up to go into the slicer hole even if you're not using it. This might be correctable by adjusting the weight a bit so they fall into the correct alignment more readily. I'd humbly suggest to the manufacturer to redesign this to make the presser head removable: you are unlikely to use both functions simultaneously, so having just one which can be moved between functions would reduce the amount of metal/weight as well as make this easier to use. This can be as simple as having holes with a smooth-sided screw and vinyl nut (or hole with threading) which can be moved, or as complicated as a vinyl socket that a metal axle could be popped in or out of to quickly relocate it without tools. The handle could also be more narrow; it feels a little big and flimsy.Overall, does the job and is holding up so far. That said, it seems to be made of a cheap pot metal, so it may end up corroding. Time will tell how long it will last.Pros: crushes garlic well, even with the paper/husk.Cons: handle should be a bit narrower, presser on the slicer should be [re]movable so it stops getting in the way.

Waste money!
It was from China, no packaging no box no brush - nothing like the picture. Big and bulky. Look cheapskate.

Es complicado limpiarlo
Si exprime bien, el cortador de tiras no funciona muy bien.La dificultad mayor está en dejarlo limpio
