Expensive failure
This adapter did not work. When I removed the adapter and plugged the keyboard back to the original computer, the keyboard did not work anymore. Now I have the added expense of needing to replace the keyboard.

Didn't Do the Job
Cannot fault this connector, but it didn't do what I wanted. I had an old HP keyboard for a tower computer that I wanted to use on my laptop with USB connection. But the wiring in the round connector must not have matched up with the USB input on my laptop.

Doesn't work with keyboards
As others have mentioned, this doesn't seem to be made for use with keyboards. I bought it to hook an old IBM Model M to my computer, and it didn't recognize it at all.

adapts physical port only, but does not convert signal
I've learned since buying this that this product will not serve as an adapter for an old PS2 keyboard to a usb port. IT mates the table physically, but USB is a smart interface and needs circuitry to and intelligence to communicate over a usb plug. This adapter has no such chip to do anything of the sort and as such does not make an old keyboard work over usb.

Work great!
Worked great on my new keyboard that only has a mini din 6 pin male and needed to connect to my desktop pc with a usb 2.0 A male plug.

At least one didn't work.
I try it with 4 keyboards. None of them works. I baught this: "Perixx PERIPRO-401 PS2 to USB Adapter" (https://www.amazon.ca/dp/B008DFVQFW?ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_fed_asin_title) and they all work perfectly. I ask for a refund and they did. It doesn't mean that no adapter works but mine didn't.
