You should know.... Works well but 3 issues. Came with dead battery. Only able to do 7 tests without ordering supplies. More "reagent" costs a dollar per tes Test strips much cheaper per test.

Compared to $700 dollar meter and was within .05 of the reading. Great value!

I tested before and after a carbon filter. Results were as expected. It only come with chemicals for a few tests. Seems fairly accurate.

Unlike the HI 729 Fluoride test, this one is really simple. You zero the device using your sample before you add the reagent. You then add the powdered reagent and run the test. I think you have to wait 2 minutes 30 seconds for the results. (Perhaps this just seemed simple after I fully understood how to get accurate results out of the Fluoride test.)

Received it and tested my water for chorine/chloramines. The test result was much lower than I expected so I suspected the meter was not accurate. I called the county water supplier and the technician told me that my measurement was very much in the expected range based on testing in my area by the water provider. Very happy with the purchase thus far.

⭐️⭐️⭐️ (3 stars) This tester works, but it didn’t quite live up to the “simple and easy” experience I was expecting. There’s nothing outright wrong with it — it does provide readings — but the process feels a bit more involved than advertised. The biggest drawback for me has been the battery life, which seems to drain pretty quickly. It’s not a dealbreaker, but it does mean you have to stay on top of replacements more than you’d expect for a handheld device like this. Overall, it gets the job done, but I wouldn’t call it especially user-friendly or convenient. It’s a decent tool, just not as straightforward as the marketing suggests.
