FLUORESCENCE SHIMMER REVERB Shimmering Reverb Pedal with Intuitive 4-Knob Interface for Modern, Ethereal Reverb Sounds

OH my god I LOVE this pedal on my acoustic board. I didn't know what to expect, but it exceeded expectations. Make sure you know what "Shimmer" reverb is. Google it, if not.

It isn't the best one out there. Decent, but not perfect. I purchased this used from another website, and it's still on my board because it's a working pedal and has a nice sound for certain passages. It's decent for the price, but not the best. The volume seems to drop significantly when put in the FX loop, so I found it actually works best going into the front of the amp, so it hits the preamp and strangely, may distort your preamp that way- what? It INCREASES in volume going into the preamp and DECREASES the volume going through the FX loop?! IDK, it's a strange pedal, but that said, it probably won't leave my board for the foreseeable future, as it has been for about two years now with ZERO problems and still has a cool sound for certain parts of certain songs. The picture shown above is with it in the FX loop. It was about two weeks ago I switched to putting it in the front of the amp, because of volume trouble when put in the FX loop. I think I also added a TC Electronics Crescendo since then, and the Boss Tremolo is currently being worked on by Kinnatone in Oregon. I'm a pedal addict :-)

First off TC Electronics makes great products. This pedal is no exception. Road ready solid construction. I need this pedal for one purpose only; to add a swell type reverb effect that has a strings element. I achieved that quickly right after opening the box. I have a lot of exploring still to accomplish but if all I get from it is the swells I will stay happy

I think this is the best stand alone shimmer you can buy. However, a few caveats. There is a noticeable volume drop when using the pedal; about the equivalent of turning the volume on your amp down from say 6 to 5 1/2. I use a loop switcher so this is less of an issue for me as I pair it with a clean boost to compensate for that. I would emphasize that this is a shimmer pedal significantly more than a reverb pedal so be prepared for this to be a very specific use pedal. I have an always on dedicated reverb so this is not an issue for me but something to be aware of if you’re looking for reverb and shimmer in one package. In terms of tone and usability, I think this is a great pedal that adds a wonderful and subtle wash of sound. Highly recommended if used in specialized circumstances.

This is a cool shimmer-reverb pedal. It adds a heavenly chorus of sounds that are easily adjusted to suit your preferences. The construction is solid and the pedal easily mounts onto your board.

Actually, when this unit was working, it sounded good, the distortions were excellent. However, after about 1 week, it started humming and then died. There's always one lemon in the crate, so maybe I just got the bad one. Had it continued working I would have given it 4 or 5 stars.

I dont dig the sounds from this pedal. Its more shimmer than cool reverb with shimmer. It doesnt replace my HOF reverb and the shimmer isnt as musical as what I hoped for. But others like it so maybe you will too.

Al cabo de un año y sin meterle mucha tralla un día murió, simplemente dejó de funcionar. Me han enviado otro al estar en garantía, pero tras leer más comentarios de esta serie de pedales de TC no me quedo muy tranquilo, pues parece que no tienen un control de calidad como antaño. El pedal es lo que es, un one-trick pony. La reverb va asociada al shimmer, es decir, no puedes usarlo como reverb solamente. Aunque pongas el shimmer al mínimo sigue sonando, sin embargo puedes cortar del todo la reverb y tener el shimmer seco. Vamos, que es un shimmer con reverb y no al revés. Los controles tanto de tono como de mix funcionan bien. Pierde un poco de volumen al activarlo, nada muy llamativo, pero se aprecia. La construcción parece muy sólida, pero a mí ya me ha fallado una vez, así que... Para ser un pedal de un sólo uso podría ser más pequeño, como la serie del HOF, por ejemplo. Lo mejor es el sonido, un shimmer muy personal y que tiene muchos matices cuando juegas con el tono, el mix y la reverb. Una pena que no se pueda cortar del todo el shimmer. Bien: Sonido rico y maleable. Mal: Demasiado grande para su uso, durabilidad dudosa.

Costruito come un carro armato, tutto di metallo con bei pulsanti e belle manopole, c'è solo l'essenziale e ogni comando ha ampia regolazione. Si può dosare l'effetto come più piace. Con questo pedale è come aggiungere al suono della chitarra un pad di sintetizzatore. Ho sentito una cosa del genere solo da un guitar synth di un amico che ha pagato 750 euro per elettronica e chitarra con apposito pickup. Con questo pedale e spendendo neanche 70 euro si può ricreare lo stesso effetto bellissimo, come un alone etereo, leggero, chiaro, armonioso, quasi celestiale, attorno al suono principale della chitarra. Io lo uso con una chitarra classica microfonata e quando faccio degli accordi particolari questo TC Electronic arricchisce il suono e regala una sensazione ed un'esperienza sonora unica. Consigliatissimo per tutti e soprattutto per chi è stufo dei soliti riverberi e delay

Das Pedal leistet, sowohl für akustische, als auch für elektrische Gitarre, einen sehr besonderen und angenehmen Effekt. Reverb und Shimmer (Ton klingt deutlich länger nach) sind einzeln einstellbar, ebenso wie stark der Mix sein soll. Für Leute, die gerne mit verschiedenen Sounds experimentieren, eine lohnenswerte Investition.
