Best Box Spring Ever!
This product is great, I am 100% satisfied with this purchase. I am using this box spring with a Nature Sleep memory foam mattress. If you have an innerspring mattress your mileage may vary. My review as follows will cover several different aspects of this product and why they are great. Portability: Who knew you could assemble a box spring instead of lugging around a 50+ pound bulky wooden frame? Once assembled, the frame is lightweight and much easier to move around than a traditional box spring. The next time I move I am just going to take it apart instead of it taking up space in the moving truck, very economical in that sense. Assembly: Assembly was very easy, no mechanical inclinations required from the assembler. The set comes with an allen wrench/hex key and you use that to hold bolts in place while you tighten wingnuts with your fingers. Please ignore any reviewer of this product who said it was too difficult to assemble, took too long, or had confusing instructions, they are either lazy or completely incompetent. It took me about an hour to assemble by myself, and it would have taken even less time if I hadn't been half watching TV and drinking a beer while I was putting it together. The instructions aren't written words, but pictures showing which pieces to assemble with which bolts, but if you ever built a Lego set when you were a kid you should be able to handle this. It is easy to tell which pieces should be facing up during assembly, because most have a 'this side up' sticker. The pieces that don't, it either doesn't matter which side is up or you can tell which side should be up because of the notches the slats will fit into at the end. The Cover/ Looks: The zip cover looks nice and the white sides are a soft plush. Make sure you sweep your floor before zipping the cover on though or you might get dirt all over the nice white part. Some people said that the cover ripped when they were zipping it up, that was not the case for me. The cover is a very tight and perfect fit, but the white sides stretch. So when you zip it on, don't just yank on the zipper as hard as you can, pull up on the white parts that stretch and it will make the zipper easier to close. Durability: It seems sturdy enough to me. I have had for two weeks, no complaints. I have unzipped and re-examined the frame and it has not bent or buckled under the weight of two people or any vigorous activity. Could you bend the metal of the frame after you put it together? I guess you could if you tried to, but why would you do that deliberately? Putting a mattress on top of it and using as intended should leave you with no issues. I hope this review provided all the information needed to help in your purchase decision, and I am sure you will be satisfied with this box spring.

Great box spring
These box springs are light weight yet incredibly sturdy. It is so easy to put together it literally only takes about 10 minutes. We liked this box spring so much we have not purchased them for other bedrooms in our house. It is sold at a very reasonable price point. One of my sons is a 6'3" rugby player and multiple wood box springs had broken under his mattress but this one has held up for years now. Highly recommend!

Great quality, packaging and everything included for assembly
Loved the fact that it arrived in a compact box making it very manageable to carry through the house and into the bedroom as I have a very small and constricted floor plan. Upon opening the box it seemed a bit overwhelming but once I looked at the instructions and the diagram of the labeling of the pieces I was very impressed with how easy it was to lay out and put together. All the hardware fit smoothly and was easy to put together using only the tools that were supplied. That in itself was a touch of class, to be provided those items and not have to find and size up my own tools. The quality of the hardware as well as the packaging was well thought out and I appreciated the extra nuts and bolts. I actually used the extra nuts to double nut the two long bolts that secured the middle cross members together in the center of the box to ensure they don't work their way loose over time. The nuts and bolts looked to be well made and the shouldered and serated locking surfaces of the nuts weren't lost on me. That was a great selection of fasteners. The bolts were made very well and the heads did not ring out or become deformed from being tightened and kept their integrity and shape so as to be removed for disassembley in the future if needed. All the frame work pieces had a very nice finish to them appearing to be powder coated. The final addition of the frame cover was an added item that enhanced the overall quality and appearance of the total package once it was fully assembled. Total assembly time was no more than an hour by myself and being put together on and inside an existing raised oak bedframe with large headboards and side rails. Very pleased with this excellent product and would most definitely buy again and recommend to others looking for a similar item to fit their needs and lifestyle.

Steel sturdy construction, skimped in a few minor places
Overall I'm pretty happy. I was going to give this bedspring 5 starts until I watched the video and saw that it was originally designed for wingnuts. That makes sense because it would have fixed my major problem with this bed. Pros: -Steel throughout -Reasonable price -Dimensions are correct (I bought the queen) -Reasonable assembly (~30 minutes) -Very clear instructions -Cover is reasonable quality -They give you this little hex ratchet tool and it's really nice. Really worked well. Cons: -Piece 2-7 was slightly bent, caused me probably 5 minutes of cursing. The screws are thick enough I don't think it'd be an issue but it would be easy to spot this in quality control. Taking off the zip tie that packed that piece unsprung the metal pretty substantially instantly warning of some bent metal. It wasn't a huge problem, just annoying. -There are 10 nuts and the kit comes with a small wrench which is something like 2/16" thick with a 2" handle. It made it through exactly 10 nuts before I effectively stripped the wrench by tightening a nut into the groove of the wrench. This could be fixed by 1) using wing nuts like the video suggested rather than a crappy wrench and a regular nut or 2) giving us a wrench in the kit that was a little less thin, perhaps 1/4" thick sheet metal for your wrench pressings? -I stripped 2 small hex nuts (on the bottom of the 1-7 and 2-7 connection pieces). The ratchet tool worked flawlessly but the heads of the screws were a little soft and the ratchet won. -The assembly instructions don't match the order on the video and I think the video is right. If you get this 1-7 step thing, do steps 5 and 6 first, like the video. Then 1-4, then 7. - The kit could use 2-4 more horizontal slots. Probably adds a few dollars but I would pay it for a little more consistent top surface. Because I stripped 2 hex screws, disassembly is not that straightforward. People who are moving with it should be careful. Then again, every other box spring I've dealt with is wood and can't be disassembled so maybe that's asking too much. The mattress on top of it likely is exactly the same size and cannot be repacked either so generally box springs don't NEED to be taken apart. Thinner foam mattresses might not be a good fit with the somewhat sparse and thin metal cross-beams. They seem very sturdy but a few more would really smooth out the surface. Conventional spring mattresses this shouldn't worry you. Probably anything 9" or thicker foam wise won't be an issue as well. It's somewhat heavy and hard to move around in the construction process. If you have the strength of your average 25-50 year old male, shouldn't pose much of a problem. For others, you really need another person. With two people, there isn't much heavy lifting at all. I'd say if you need two people to carry the box, you probably need two people to put it together. Bring back the wing nuts, consider adding 2-4 more horizontal cross-bars, fix the instruction order I received, and keep up with your quality control. Would buy again.

Easy to build, too good to be true (it seems)
It is rare when I take the time to sit down and write a review but this time I felt it was necessary. We needed a new box spring as my wife and I are like giant children. We jump around, we wrestle, and we've cracked the boards in our current box spring to the point that the mattress sinks in the middle. I was soooooo close to ordering a box spring from mattress warehouse when I thought to myself "I wonder if Amazon sells box springs". This product was the first to show up, and I questioned buying it because of all of the negative reviews. "The product isnt to size, the product is missing parts, it's difficult to assemble, it's impossible to get the cover over it, etc." I took a shot because I figure I'm pretty handy and we were in desperate need. Opening the box is quite overwhelming due to the amount of parts, but a simple glance at the directions put me at ease. While the parts aren't labeled "a,b,c" physically on them, it doesnt take a rocket scientist to look at what's in front of you and match it to the picture. I didn't use the tools that came with the kit because I have my own. If I used their tools of course it'd be a pain in the ass, but what would you expect from a dinky little hex key and flat wrench. That is the standard basic tools set you get in EVERY SINGLE build it yourself furniture item. Obviously their tools are no different and they are trash, but you should know that already. The build took me roughly 25 minutes as there are a total of 14bolts and 10 nuts that you have to put in place. So far no issues at all to my surprise, everything was smooth as silk. Then came the "hard part" putting the cover onto the box spring. The panic began to set in as I have been told by so many reviewers that this was a huge deal and i would struggle. Again to my surprise I had zero issues whatsoever and it slid on with ease. So how did I do it you ask? Logic told me the easiest way to do this was to stand the frame upright. Since everything was very well secured in place (to my surprise) there was no reason why I couldn't do this. I placed the cover over the top 2 corners, zipped it slightly and moved down to the bottom. The only "issue" was that I was by myself, so when I was pulling the cover over the bottom, I almost tipped the frame over into my TV. That said, if you have someone to hold it for you, you won't have a problem. I cant speak on behalf of the quality as I just received it and built it today so that will be a follow up review. As far as building it, if you can follow instructions with or without your own tools a child can put this together. (With your own tools makes it easier, but not required.) I used a screwdriver with a hex key insert, and a socket wrench.

Great for us overweight folks.
***UPDATE 1/22*** Still love this box spring. No sagging whatsoever, still providing great support. We've moved twice since purchasing and breaking it down and reassembling a breeze! LOVE this box 'spring'. For every review that is complaining about how heavy the box is; I'm going to need you to stop and think. This is a metal frame NOT a traditional wood box spring, of course, it's heavy. Please read the weight of the package. This was pretty easy to assemble even without words. There were one or two snags. In step one, the image looks as though there are nuts to be applied to the screw, this is not so. Then the images for steps 3 & 4 seemed to indicate you needed more nuts than you actually have. The M screws just like the L screws do not call fur nuts. So if you have ten nuts you are all good. Even with those moments of confusion still easy to assemble. Took about 30 minutes from start to finish and that was with a 5-year-old running around insisting on 'helping'. It was easy peasy to get the cover over the metal frame, zipped up with no issue. However, if you really find this to be too much of a hassle just buy a bedskirt and be done. This is providing us sooooo much more support than our old box spring (to be fair that thing was a decade old and its spring had long sprung). As my other half and I are both weight gifted, I really wanted to go with this box spring in hopes that it would handle our weight better than a traditional box spring. Only time can really tell on that front, but I am pleased thus far. We are using a Zinu 12 inch mattress and could not tell that we were laying on metal. Gave the mattress just the right amount of firmness. I slept so well last night I almost cried when my alarm went off and I had to get up this morning. I'm sure at some point we are going to have to move again. I like the fact that we can deconstruct this, thus saving room in a moving truck when packing. Suggestion, do not remove the up stickers on the frame so that when it comes time to reassemble you'll know which way to put the pieces. Add to all of that that this was cheaper than any box spring that I could locate at my local furniture stores. I'm one happy camper.

Great price and sturdy
We checked out some box springs to replace our busted wooden ones. The price has definitely gone up substantially on them. We decided to try out the metal box springs hoping for longer lasting and more sturdiness. The product says is can hold up to 750 pounds. My husband and teen son assembled the boxspring together. It came with all the necessary tools. Would say the only thing we really had a problem with is that the middle shafts are hollow and we had some bugs in ours so we beat them down into the bathtub and made sure that they weren’t in any more of the metal. I can’t really see how a warehouse could have this 100% under control to not have this happen so we do not blame the company for anything. Just FYI for you to check before you assemble it. My husband and son were having a bit of trouble getting the cover on until I came up and helped them out. Luckily there’s a little flap that says top so you know exactly which way to put it on. It was easy putting it on after that. We’ve had it for about two months now and it works great. Great product for the price in a time of outrageous bedding prices.

Great Buy. Easy Shipping, Easy to Assemble, and Feels Fine Under the Mattress.
This is the second box spring of this type that we've purchased. The first was for a queen 8" memory foam mattress in our guest bedroom. No complaints from our guests. We have a Tuft & Needle california king mattress in our bedroom, and while we're only two days in with this box spring underneath it, so far the results have been great. The Good: - I wouldn't normally review shipping, but I think in this case it's actually a big selling point for this product. This can be shipped normally to your house, meaning there's no freight delivery to deal with. No appointments to set up, no having to be home when it gets there. - Relatively easy to assemble. I did it myself in about half an hour. Definitely use your own drill and/or ratchet set if you have it. They provide tools but it would make the assembly process longer if you used them. - Seems to be plenty of support so far on the mattress. No problems at all sleeping on it. Again, we have a 10-inch Tuft & Needle memory foam mattress. - Lightweight compared to other box springs. I actually got it on the bed and set up by myself, although I'd recommend two people do it. In any case, it's pretty easy to move around compared to a wood foundation of this size. - The price. Looked at some other, more traditional box springs (which for california king usually end up being two separate pieces) and they seemed to be priced somewhat higher than this. The Bad: - Not sure if there are any bad items. You do have to assemble yourself, but you know that going in. The instructions aren't the clearest, but it's fairly easy to figure out. Overall: Like I said, we now have two of these in different sizes and have been happy with both. If you don't have any issues assembling it, I'd say it's a good buy, and based on the research I did, pretty competitively priced compared to other box springs.

Es un buen producto, lo recomiendo
Lo pedí hace unos meses y me pareció un buen producto, sólo que me equivoqué ya que mi cama quedó muy alta. Lo debe haber pedido de menos centímetros. Lo ensamble yo sola y me fue bien

Much better than expected
Putting the box spring together proved to be easier than I imagined. I have a bad back so bending was a problem so I took rest breaks. The instructions are basic and easy to follow. I suggest if you have a small ratchet set, use it for the nuts. The tool provided is OK but a ratchet set is much better and faster. The Allen ratchet provided for the screws was great and will be used in the future for other projects.Measure the cover before installing is also a good idea. It will save time and not rip the fabric. Assembly can be done by one person but the cover really needs two. The finished product appears to be solid and the King size mattress fitted perfectly on top of it. So far I'm happy with the purchase.

Great! Awesome! Buy this!
LOVE this! We bought King size a year ago. It’s great. It’s quiet. It’s light and easy to put together. Delivered in a super tiny box, I put it together by myself quickly. If we ever move it can be easily taken apart - no sawing in half to get through tight corners! Plus the cover zippers over a metal frame so like you could totally hide a person or two in it.

Solid boxsping
This box spring was vary simple to put together. Once I had the pieces in the right position it was done in like 10 min . Plus comes with all tools to assemble. Another cool gadget was the Allen key wrench which mad it abit easier to tighten the bottom screws in the corner joints. It does come with the regular Allen key to tighten the screws aswell. The look and feel of the fabric it good seem like it won't rip easily. Feels really sturdy. I've only used it for 3nights now and my kids have been jumping the the bed and I haven't heard any noise at all .So the srewcs do their job. One more thing I seems like it would be vary easy to take apart if u need to move into a new room or new home. Over all it's a great box spring The only thing I didn't like is when I stood it standing up I must have shaken a support bar out of it holder and I have to unziper the boxsping cover reach in and put the bar back into its holder . If the distributor see this maybe they might want to make the plastic holders abit more thicker to make them hold the bar abit better or something along those lines. 5 stars from me
