Taste of the Wild High Prairie Adult Dry Dog Food, Roasted Bison, 28lb

This is Antoinette Jackson. I am writing to let you know of the new change in our dogs FOOD. WE had been on Canada Day through ALL our Goldens, and I was a breeder at one time and always swore by Canidae our dogs got nothing else no other dog food and all that time. It has been well over 15 years Well there’s been a change and it’s a distinct change. We noticed that our seven year old Golden male had begun eating bowls of Canidae dog food more than triple the AMOUNT. We carefully watched this for four solid months. It seemed like he was eating cardboard or sawdust, there seemed to be nothing in the food nutritionally because he never seemed to get full and the more we put in the more he ate. THIS has never been true for our dog and we began thinking something is very strange with the Canada. They’ve been changing the size, the bags, they’ve been changing a lot of things and whatever they have done is not beneficial - not at all. Meanwhile, a beautiful, black and white cat has since made our home his and we wondered what kind of food we should start giving him, After much discussion and talking with reputable feed and animal stores, WE went with CALL OF THE WILD SALMON for the CAT. The cat seemed to thrive on it. His coat became beautiful and shiny and he was gaining weight. Plus he likes the food. Now back to our Golden, we decided that we would put Mauna Kea also on CALL OF THE WILD the Buffalo and VENISON. WE were able to get a 38 pound bag and for as much as Mauna Kea was eating with Canidae and going through food like it was a water. WE found that we aren’t doing any worse for the cost with call of the wild even though it is more expensive. This is the first week so we’re weaning him over seven days and we have noticed a big difference in how much food he is eating because now he’s getting real nutritional value. I put in 1 cup of the Call of The Wild 1 cup of the Canadae. He no longer eats like he’s starving to death, and there’s still food left in his bowl, which was never the case with Canadae the past 4 months. During this time we also took MaunaKea to his vet for a thorough check up. Which was several hundred dollars. He of course, came out with a clean bill of health, no worms, no anything just a HEALTHY golden retriever. I don’t know how to get through to Canada on an email, but I certainly do hope that you will take note of this and pass it on to the people who should be aware of it. Canidae has left us with a great big disappointment in our lives because we really relied on it. AS a matter of fact when we moved back to Hawaii on the BIG ISLAND where we owned a home they had never heard of it. WE HAD TO ALWAYS SPECIAL ORDER it. BY the time we left years later everybody was coming in and buying it, and they always had it on stock they said it was one of their biggest sellers. Mahalo Antoinette Jackson

We have several dogs that were on HS. My staffy had what looked like a skin infection on her belly. I started looking into food composition and allergens. HS had a high concentration of grains and meals. Within 3 weeks of switching to this, my Staffy's belly started clearing up. All the dogs love this food, where they were far less excited about the HS. Diarrhea is pretty much solved too. Glad we switched

Most dog food is riddled with terrible ingredients thus causing all kinds of health problems. If you’re read the ingredients carefully, this is much better than most brands out there for sure. I gradually changed from typical kibble food to Taste of the Wild and my dog loves it. She has not had any more digestive problems, fortunately. The bottom line is this has been good quality dog food that I can recommend but change it gradually.

Great for big dogs, good on their digestion. It helped our Cane Corso digestion issues and helped her put on weight because she was too skinny for her size. So its great for the skinny active pups that need to put on some weight. Even the finicky older dog will eat it without soft food on top. Its a little pricey but worth it. Great quality

My dog loves this food, he has a slightly sensitive tummy and this is the only food that he doesn't get a bad reaction to the grain free version anyway.

My dogs eat this better than anything I have ever fed them! That includes a 12 lb, 14 year old mini dachshund and a 70 lb Golden, Shepard, Great Pyrenees, Poodle, Lab mix! No more canned food to get them to eat!!

Pups love this stuff and it’s got great ingredients

My dog has been treated for allergy symptoms/itching for years. It got so uncomfortable for her that I did some research and decided to feed her something that was based on wild game and not the usual chicken or beef products. She didn't take to it immediately but a mix of this and her old food allowed me to eventually switch to just this. There's been a notable difference in her itching to the point that it's almost non existent. It's also less expensive than the high quality stuff I was feeding her. Find out if it's a good fit first then add it to your "auto shipments".

Excellent dry dog food. My cairn terrier will eat this kibble anytime anywhere. We've tried many other brands without success. Another great result is that she is flatulent free! Hurray. She digests this kibble well. The size of the kibble is perfect for her. Whole heartedly recommend this product.

Mein wahnsinnig heikler Akita liebt dieses Futter obwohl er sonst von keiner Firma Trockenfutter frisst. Auch die Zusammensetzung ist für Trockenfutter gut. Preis ist für Trockenfutter im Normalbereich.. Fazit - gutes Futter das auch schmeckt
