Claritag Advanced Skin Tag Remover, FDA-Cleared Freeze-Off Kit

Was a little skeptical upon reading reviews before my purchase but went in ahead anyway, arrived quickly, product comes in a plastic storage type container, easy and clear instructions, applied as directed no issues, the next day I felt the soreness of the applied area which is under my arm (hurts a little somewhat) but tolerable, only felt if my arm swung or I picked up something heavy with that arm, but pain became gain, From Monday to Monday, just one week and it completely removed my semi large tag in my armpit, left a light red circle but the tag had fallen off, I’m delighted to have this gone, will be waiting for the spot to recover/return to normal skin color and this will be as if it was never there to begin with, has worked better and faster than I thought it will work for me, glad I took the chance to try and I hope my review might help someone else to try this product, feeling super my money was well spent!😀

It worked!!! Used it on some tags (2) around my neck that I hated so much. In my mind they were getting bigger and bigger and uglier ! I was skeptical but this worked. My tip after a couple of tries: You have to make sure you get the tip super blue and ice cold, then take it and grab the suckers as close to the skin as possible! The first one I got too close to the root/skin and it freezer burned my neck a bit and a red streak appeared! I put some Neosporin around the red streak scared I messed up. But that tag froze good and after about a week of shrinking and getting smaller it peeled off ! The second one was bigger and I had to do a couple of times because I didn’t get as close to the root afraid I might burn myself again. But that one eventually dried up and fell off too!!! It burns a little the day you do it. It’s not comfortable but it goes away. And I am so happy my neck is clear and I can show it again.

This was super effective. Very painfree, easy to grip and use. Very durable product. I was having an issue with a skin Tag, that would not come off with other products I have used of name brand. I was seriously a call away from scheduling with a dermatologist to deal with it. So glad this worked out very well. And seamless.

I've had skin tabs on my back for a very long time, since I was a teenager. They've started to bother me at night and itch and make it harder to sleep. So I decided that it was time to get rid of these things. My doctor wouldn't send me to have them taken care of, said they wouldn't waste their time on skin tags. He suggested rubber bands, but that sounded like something I wanted nothing to do with. I purchased this, on receiving it said don't use if you're diabetic. I asked my doctor about it, and he said that my A1C1 is so good that the chances of anything happening because of diabetes would be extremely unlikely. I froze about 7 tags on my back a week ago from today. 3 of them may have fallen off or disappeared a bit? My wife doesn't seem to know what happened to some of them, as we did 4 on my upper back on Friday and 3 on my lower back on Saturday, and there's only 4 right now. The four that are remaining are in bad shape. One of them is bleeding a lot and one is near my belt line so it is super red and painful. I also kinda like pain, so I've been playing with them a bit. She decided to ask the pharmacist if it was normal, and he said he wouldn't recommend freezing tags off, and it is common for them to have problems and have infections. I think the wife is overreacting and that the medicine is working as intended. Other people in the reviews mentioned it being painful. If these things do fall off, it'll be a great product since they've bothered me so long. But I don't know if this process is worth the end result. Even if it works, there will be some pretty annoying pain and risk of infection.

This product works very well, but it's easy to screw it up. If you attempt to treat a skin tag but the device isn't cold enough, it can damage but not kill the skin tag. This can be painful, and any substantial pain is an indicator that it may not have worked properly. Itching is a sign that it did work properly. It will also only kill the part of the skin tag that it touches, so make sure to cover the entire thing, or else just the tip will fall off.

Im going to start this off by saying that i am black and this product worked for me. Ethnicity doesn't really matter HOWEVER it is scientifically proven that people of color are more likely to develop skin tags. So theres that. I had only had one skin tag i ever noticed on my body. it was small not unsightly and no one ever complained and i didnt care. then i got my ear pierced when i was in my 20's. About 8 months after getting my ear pierced i felt a skin tag. it was medium sized i supposed. again no one had pointed it out but because i could feel it was unnerved by its presence. So i googled how to get rid of it. And i pretty much saw the only way was surgery. I waited awhile and decided to check amazon and lo and behold there were products. So it came down to using a liquid to dry out the tag or using claritag to freeze it. I wasnt too big on using a chemical to dry out my skin even if it was a small area. Plus the reviews weren't stellar. I decided to go with claritag because it made sense to treat a skin tag like you would a wart. So dropped the 40 or so dollars and bought the claritag. You need a second person, and thats on periodt. So if you are like me the videos for this were a little confusing. But its not a confusing product. The main device is basically your mini cryo/freezy chamber. You pump that and it gets cold. After pumping you use the device to grab onto the skin tag and hold it. As you hold it the skin tag freezes turns white and then red and then back to the regular color. Now you will need a second person to do this in order to grab on to the skin tag if its not on the front of your body. Also you do not have an infinite amount of uses. I got around 3 to 4 rounds of freezing with this device and one of them i wasted trying to grab the tag on my own. This thing isnt cheap... Ok! So what happens next. The instructions tell you to loosely put a bandaid over the tag so it doesnt get infected. Do this. And dont fiddle with the tag. So after the first use the skin tag will begin to throb after. this wasnt painful but was kinda noticeable. Ignorable but noticeable. The next day I removed the bandaid after working out and taking a shower. i noticed that there was a little discharge from the skin tag. It wasnt like a pimple but it was a little gooey?. Thats the best way i can describe it. Dont ever fiddle with it or try and pinch it off. Let the freezing work. Slowly but sure after a few days i noticed the skin tag getting smaller. After a week i re did the freezing kinda failed because i did it on my own and barely grabbed the skin tag. Same thing happened as before. And I repeated this step at the 3rd week. Its week 4 and the skin tag has gone crusty and is only surface level. So i believe that after another week or 2 it will be completely gone

A friend of mine recommended this product to me. I purchased it off Amazon and read all the materials that came with it as well as the videos. While I found it to be somewhat cumbersome to handle, I didn't have much trouble in operating the device. I felt that the "pinchers" should have been more pointed to be able to really get the skin tag into its jaws. But I doubt that it would be able to give you the loaded up service area that the flat style they have on the device. I had two tags. I had two outcomes. One tag was, I would say, text-book. Meaning the device did as advertised and in a period of time after using the device the tag just fell off. I was pleased. The other tag - not so much textbook in that it was bigger than the other one. After a week and some days, I hit it again with the device and it was this second application that knocked it out. Bottom line the two tags are gone and I am pleased with the results. I would recommend the product with the caveat that a person may have to apply a second round.

Overall, this product really does work! I had a fairly good sized skin tag on my upper left ear, I never used to have, and somehow just developed over time. Sorry I don't have a photo to show, but I promise you it works! Depending on the size of your skin tag, it can take some time to really take affect. It took approximately 1 month for my tag to completely go away. This was my process: 1. Day 1; I treated my skin tag with two treatments back to back. I did this because the tag is supposed to turn white after treatment, and mine didn't. 2. At about 14 days or say I noticed the top half of my skin tag turned black and shortly after fell off on it's own. Progress! However, there was still a bit of skin tag left. 3. I treated the remaining tag again and did the same thing by doing two treatments back to back. one more thing, the manual recommends to treat for 20 seconds, but I treated it for 30 seconds, cause I felt it was being a bit stubborn. Note: My spouse helped with the treatment, and I will say he accidentally got some of my actual ear skin. It did turn to a brownish color, but don't fret! If this happens to you, your skin will heal and it'll be fine! This time, the remaining skin tag didn't turn black over time, but I did notice it began to dry out and started feeling loose. 4. By this time now, it's been almost a month. I was in my bathroom and was checking it out. It felt loose even more so, so I gave it a little tug and shockingly, it came right off!! There was some exposed skin which would needs some healing. Also, this did not hurt when I pulled the tag off, but it was shocking enough that it made me feel like Jeff Goldblum in the movie "The Fly", where is entire ear came off! Anyway, I put a little ointment on it and in two days, it healed right up and it's like the skin tag was never there. I wasn't left with any scarring or skin blemishes, and my ear is fully intact, despite "The Fly" reference! I can't say for sure how long it will take to treat a smaller skin tag? I do have a little one on my lower right arm pit which I plan to treat, so I'll be sure to update this review and let you know how long it took. Hopefully being much smaller it won't take a month. If you find it's not working for you, be patient and try doing several treatments over time. It's recommended to wait 14 before doing the next treatment. My only complaint is that it's a one time purchase and the kit doesn't include some kind of refillable cartridge. So if you have more tags to treat, you'll have to spend another 50 bucks. In spite of that, I'm pleased with the outcome and so happy the tag on my ear is gone!!!

I have tried several products for a stubborn skin tag and this finally removed it. So easy to use, painless, and only needed to use it once to work.

What a joke. Beware. It is hard to use by yourself. It does not hold onto short tags well. ANd even if you get someomne to do it, the tag remains after two weeks...even after following instructions to the T.
