Could have been better...
I had high hopes for this. I like the idea of teaching my son to use a cup, rather than yet another drinking device, and sippy cups have never made a whole lot of sense to me. Besides, my son wants to drink out of MY regular cup, not a sippy. And who doesn't love mason jars! Unfortunately, the silicone sleeve on this is too short, so it doesn't cover the lower part of the jar and thereby provide any protection from falls. Seriously, people, how hard would it be to cover the bottom with silicone, too!? No problem, though, I just used the silicone sleeves from my Born Free bottles… they're a little loose, but they work fine. Unfortunately, I noticed a problem with the lids, too. They leak more often than not, and the opening is just wide enough to let out a few drops of liquid. He either gets little to nothing out of it, or he waits a few seconds and drowns himself. There is no space for the liquid to pool, which would trigger his lips and his mouth to drink. The liquid just seems to come out of nowhere. I drilled a hole in plastic lids of my mason jars and taught him to drink out of a silicone straw instead. It took me two bucks, five minutes, and he picked it up right away. Besides, it's a lot easier to drink smoothies out of a thick straw than a tiny-holed cup.

Good for ages 2-4
My daughter is 5 and I wanted a sippy cup that was glass that would be hard to spill for her milk in the morning. She is using a cup all of the time except for this because she likes to have her milk still in the morning while in bed or watching TV. This one is good as a trainer for kids that aren't ready for cups. I gave it a 3 because it didn't meet my needs, however I would recommend it for kids ages 2-4 and would purchase it for that type of use.

Good idea--Poor execution
This is a great idea--in theory. I found this after looking at the Cuppow and a variety of other options. I wanted a lid that didn't require the use of the metal mason jar band which was always rusting. When I saw this, I thought it was the answer. I loved that it also came with a silicone sleeve to make the jar easier to grip. My 3 year old liked it well enough, although she did make slurping noises whenever she used it, making me wonder if it was difficult to drink out of. After just a few short weeks she started giving it back to me telling me it was leaking. I would check and even though I was always careful not to cross thread it and careful to tighten it well, sure enough it was leaking--and not a little bit either. I tried again on several occasions, but it's done for. Save your money folks--this was way to much to spend for only a few short weeks of functionality!!!

Cute idea but leaks
Love the idea, but as others have noted it leaks. I can, so I have tons of jars. I tried various brands/styles but found them all to leak. The water seems to get in the threads after drinking a few times, then leaks out the bottom of the cap, down the glass. The concept was great, my daughter loved drinking from the 'smiley face' but once it started leaking on her she refused to use it. I'll toss the cap and just use the sleeve on a glass jar, which is still a nice option, just wished I hadn't bought the cap as well.

Instant big kid glass!
My 20 month old daughter has been drinking from her tiny mason jar for a couple of months now thanks to the sleeve and lid combo. Although she didn't use the lid for very long, she was more interested in drinking it straight from the jar.The sleeve slips on and off with ease for cleaning. And I have found that I can pull it down to where the bottom of the sleeve just covers the bottom of the jar to cushion the wonky wobbly toddler cup sit downs on the table and the floor. This helps prevent potential breakage. The grip is the perfect size for little hands and it's bright so she can spot it from across the room :)

AWFUL
I had to return this product. I was excited about getting away from plastic, but they leaked everywhere. I had to return them.

Three Stars
Milk especially gets under the rim and under the sleeve, dribbles everywhere.
