Good piece of kit
Easy to use, clear display and once target pressure set, pump runs until preset reached and switches off. Cable and air line length both good to reach all 4 wheels. Seems reasonably sturdy construction. Complete with deflate option which is a good feature when air pressures need to be adjusted on a tow car. Carry case supplied. Overall good value for money and relatively quieter than its predecessor

does the job well.
This was a replacement for an earlier model which packed up after quite a few years service. This one is a much better design though, and inflates more rapidly. The digital display is large and clear and as it's in Psi only, it's a doddle to set. The integral cable on the rear pulls out, sort of like a turntable which you wind back in when finished with the raised knob The air connector hose folds away in a recess on the side and there's an adapter for blowing up other things to car tyres. The whole thing fits neatly into a soft carry case. The unit is operated from the car 12 Volt socket (remember the days when it used to be called a cigarette lighter with a cigarette symbol on it?). For connecting to car tyres the metal valve is good quality, and when screwed in place will give you the current air pressure in the tyre. Simply turn the knob to set the target pressure, and then press the bar type button at the bottom of the unit, which will begin to inflate, and stop when the target pressure is reached. If you are letting air out, there is a bleed button on the valve connector to do this 15 minutes is quoted as the max continuous running time for the unit. The integral light is quite adequate to see what you are doing in the dark. For auto use, these are an indispensable aid that I think everyone who doesn't have one should have, and very handy to keep in the car. To think years ago I used foot pump!

Great inflator but cable needs to be longer.
Good little inflator. Although some say it's bulky, it is in fact more compact than the one I'm replacing. It's solidly built and inflates the tyres pretty rapidly. The hose-to-valve screw on connector is in my opinion, easier to use and more secure than the snap-on lever type I had before. Three variable readouts on the bright clear screen (PSI, BAR and kPi). It's also quieter than my old one, 90db v 97db, and has neater storage for hose and cable which winds nicely back into the body, so avoiding squeezing spaghetti into a recess and having to untangle cable before use I do have a gripe though. The blurb states that 'The long 3.5M cable and 70cm air Hose make it easy to reach the tyres all around the vehicle.' This isn't the case for my car and I suspect other more recent cars which have the 12 volt socket in the boot. The only way to reach the front tyres is to feed the cable through the ski hatch and through the interior of the car. There is then very little slack in the cable which makes it awkward if there are people or equipment in the car. Another metre on the cable would ease this scenario. It may be harsh but I've just been using it in a rain/hail squall and having to open three doors and the boot while faffing about, ended up with the passengers getting pretty wet and grumpy. Nevertheless 4 stars for being a brilliant wee machine but one off for the short cable.

Excellent Inflator – Fast, Accurate, and Easy to Use!
I’m genuinely impressed with the Ring RTC1000 digital tyre inflator. It’s incredibly easy to use, and the digital pressure gauge is very accurate. I especially appreciate the memory function and how quick the inflation process is – it took under 2 minutes per tyre! The preset target pressure feature is brilliant; I just set it to my desired value and it automatically stops once reached. The built-in LED light is a nice touch for night use, and the carry case makes storage simple and tidy. The cable and hose length are also more than enough to reach all tyres comfortably. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a reliable, compact, and efficient tyre inflator to keep in the car!

It's thumbs up from me 👍
I've had Ring pumps before. They did the job but I didn't think they did anything a different brand might do just as well. When I needed a new pump I noticed this got good reviews on the internet and was cheaper on Amazon so decided just to get it. What I really like about this pump is it feels like it was designed by people who actually use them themselves, so they know what is needed. Also it feels like they have worked to improve on previous designs. It seems to work faster than my previous ones and it's not too noisy (definitely quieter than before), and the buttons are large and convenient. It's also very easy to set the required pressure. But, it's the little things that I really like: The brass connector makes connecting and disconnecting very quick and easy. The power cable is easily long enough and can be wound in with a winder that folds neatly away when finished with. The air line is very easy to tuck away and the pump itself is compact and comes in a handy case, so it's perfect for storing in the car. It's just a shame they haven't found a way to prevent your hands getting dirty! At least they provide a glove, though, which is a thoughtful touch. I can't say how accurate it is because I have no way to test it but other website reviews rated it for it's accuracy and I have no reason to doubt them. I pumped up all four tyres, recently, to their correct pressure before going on a long journey, and my car felt much better for it (it's quite a while since I last did it and I'd forgotten what it should feel like). I'm happy to give things 4 or 5 star ratings but I don't often recommend devices or services because other people requirements and experiences can vary. In this case, though, I do recommend this pump because it it so convenient and well designed and engineered, not just form over function.

Impressive inflation speeds
This is a good quality pump and very much came in handy when I set off to get my CV-vaccine (1st shot) and discovered my tire was flat, It reinflated it within 2 minutes and after making sure it wasn't a fast puncture I was on my way across town. It has a big easy to read dial a nice brass screw fit valve that looks like it will last and a pretty long power lead that winds into the unit to keep it neat. The protective case looks well made and it comes with the regular adapters that most electric pumps come with (for inflatable beds and balls etc). The light is bright and will have no problems lighting up the wheels in the event you have to use this in the dark. Some of the reviews state the power plug (for the 12v cig-lighter) only had one metal prong making it difficult to insert but this isn't the case on my unit, it has two like everything else that's used in the 12v input (phone chargers etc). It fits in securely with no issues at all so I'm guessing the plug got revised. I would suggest setting the psi 0.5 higher then your target (example if your tires are 32 psi, set it to 32.5), I don't know if there is a .5 calibration difference or if it's due to air escaping when you unscrew the valve but I get a more accurate reading (when using a tire pressure tester after inflation) aiming 0.5 over. It may just be my equipment though so its subjective. My little yellow dial did fall off on my first use too. I pressed it back on and it seems secure now but its worth keeping in mind. Hope this helps in some way. Stay safe!

Tyre inflator
Good value product and seems to be good quality too. Have used numerous times with no issues. Very easy to use too.

Unexpectedly poor!
Very disappointing experience with the Ring TyreInflate 1000. While it looks solid on paper, the performance just doesn’t live up to expectations. It’s noticeably slower than advertised, taking far too long to inflate even a standard car tyre. The digital display is inconsistent and doesn’t always give an accurate reading, which defeats the purpose of having a digital inflator in the first place. On top of that, the unit is quite noisy and feels less durable than expected. The adaptors are a nice idea, but they don’t fit as securely as they should, making the whole process more frustrating than it needs to be. Overall, it’s unreliable and not worth the money. I’d recommend looking elsewhere for something more dependable.
