Incredible as a mixing base, blah on it’s own
Nestle has hit a home run with this Chef Mate Que Bueno Jalapeno Cheese sauce when used as a mixing base. My favorite local restaurant uses this exact product , but they mix in something like Rotel . On its own it’s very bland and off tasting , but when mixed it really shines. I tried mixing 60% que bueno with 40% Rotel hot, added a dash of white vinegar and 1/8 teaspoon garlic salt to a total 16 ounce cheese / Rotel mix and lookout it’s unbelievably good. Note the ingredient panel, everything in bold can be used as a mixing suggestion, it’s secret code for restaurants. Anyway , there are other people out there who know the mixing secrets but aren’t sharing for some reason and Nestle is tight lipped too. I can barely eat this product on its own, but once mixed right it’s really delicious.

Life changing - don’t hesitate
Look, this cheese was life changing. I was looking to recreate nachos I used to get from concession stands at swim meets as a kid. This is pretty damn close. Wish it had Jalapeño chunks but that’s whatever I am so happy with this cheese lol I have eaten half the can in 1 week… and Its just me eating it. I crave it multiple times a day. It tastes like Tostitos but without the inclusions. I sometimes add rotel. Will buy again 😂

Tasteless
It has been over a year since we last ordered this cheese and we really liked it then. However this recent order was flavorless and had no jalapeños.

Not too spicy…
I took it to work for a nacho bar potluck. It was a big hit. Everybody enjoyed it not too spicy.

Meh
My tried and true brand (Rosarita) has been sold out for months, so we decided to try this. It was quite bland. I'm used to a nice little kick and this had nothing even close. I will wait until my brand restock and not waste my money on this.
