Craft and Hobby Table Gidget II
I am very pleased with my new Gidget II. Very stable even when an embroidery machine is in full flow. Just the right height too, didn't realise that sewing on my dining table was too high for comfort. The Gidget II folds up easily and can be stored when you need the space. My only hesitation has been shortening the chains for the machine drop down position. I will have to undo the screws to adjust to the level I need for my machine. Having said that, the Gidget II works very well as a full table top. With my sewing machine on a quilted mat I can move it around easily if necessary.

Great table
The table is very well made and sturdy. It is very handy for many other things apart from sewing. When adjusting the height for your sewing machine I found it was better to set the fine adjustment wing nuts both to mid point. Then adjust the two chains to set the right depth. Then fine adjustments with the two wing nuts. For sewing the machine is best used with an insert, which is a piece of Perspex or something similar. You can buy these inserts on line but I made one (or get a handy man) from a sheet of Acrylic glass which I purchased from B and Q. Made a template on card with the sewing machine then cut it out with a fret saw. You could also use a router if you have the correct cutter. Transparent Acrylic glass is best as you can see the spool box below the needle. Then you can fit spools without the need for picking up the machine.

Sewing machine table
It’s worth the money this sewing machine table very well made, the plus side with this table you can lower the middle section to put your machine into the slot it’s designed to accommodate petty much most domestic sewing machines you just need to measure the base of your machine, but can be also used as normal table,

Happy Bunny
Table arrived in good order. Was a bit fiddly getting my sewing machine positioned at the correct level, but sat firmly when finished. It's a couple of inches shorter than my kitchen table, which means I can get a more comfortable height adjustment on my sewing chair. Very pleased with this table, very sturdy and clean looking. Can adapt quite easily to a flat surface if you want to use it for other crafts. My shoulders are thanking me every time I sit at it.

Heavy-duty Quality
It is very robust and heavy. Easy to pull, in its folded position,on its wheels. It is used for a fully restored 1933 Singer 99K electric sewing machine. This is a very heavy machine which sits very nicely in the well of the table top. There are some doubts about the cavity left around the machine. This is the price of the table's flexibility to accommodate different sizes of machine. This set-up is much quieter in use than more modern machines, with no vibration of the table and very low noise levels. It is well-made and comes well-packed at or about its its free-delivery date.JC

A good buy
A very sturdy table. As I don’t have a dedicated sewing room I find it very useful to be able to easily pack up and put away. It is also a very reasonable price.

Very neat, well made table which folds down and wheels away.
The table feels solid and safe, it is quite neat and although it is quite heavy, which you would need for sewing, it is portable with care. Easy to assemble UNTIL on my particular item you secure the diagonal struts which hold the legs in place. One of the sides is ok but the other is very hard to ‘click’ in place, even using your foot hurts the foot rather than achieve the secure click, again , I found it very difficult to put one of the legs down. While I appreciate the need for secure joints, I hope that with use they become easier.

Great sturdy table
My Bernina 770qe has been on this table for 4 months. Great sturdy table and very convenient if you want to store it away or for taking to classes etc. Would highly recommend.
