I’ve been trying different sunscreens for my kids, including several mineral sunscreens from other brands. So far, I’ve found that they often have the same drawbacks: they can leave a very noticeable white cast, feel thick and sticky, and are difficult to spread. Some also sting when they accidentally get near the eyes, which is especially frustrating with kids. This sunscreen has been a really pleasant surprise. It still leaves a slight white cast, which I think is hard to completely avoid with a mineral sunscreen, but it’s much less noticeable. More importantly, it spreads very easily and doesn’t feel overly thick or sticky. Even when it accidentally gets around the eye area, my kids haven’t complained about any irritation or stinging. I’m also really impressed with how well it seems to stay on. I apply it in the morning, and when I pick the kids up in the afternoon, I can still see a layer of sunscreen on their faces, which gives me a lot of peace of mind. So far, my kids haven’t had any issues with sunburn, sore faces, or sunburned necks. Overall, I’m very happy with this sunscreen and would definitely recommend it for kids!

I got this for my 11 month old baby because he's a red head and has super sensitive skin. We were going to an amusement park and I was so worried about him getting burnt. I applied this about 15 minutes before we went into the park and it is thick but easy to rub in. It was actually easier to rub in for me than the sunscreen my husband and I use. I like that it has natural ingredients because I try not to put too many things with chemicals and fragrances on my son because of his sensitive skin. I reapplied every 1-2 hours during the time we were at the park and at the end of the day my son didn't have any sunburns at all! It worked so well! The UV index was like 11 all day and my husband and I got burnt even after our regular sunscreen but this one protected my son all day. Since it's a natural sunscreen it separates more than a normal one so just make sure you shake it a bunch before you apply it. It looked like liquid/oil when I first opened it. Otherwise it's great! Will be buying again when ours runs out

The only reason why these product got four stars is because it’s a small bottle size and I have yet to find a larger bottle where the price point makes sense. But this is the cleanest sunscreen we could find and my kids love it. It’s easy to apply and works as a great protector from the sun and like other brands that either leave a residue or sticky to apply have a smell or don’t actually protect well from the sun

USE: I use this product on my children who are both very fair skinned. I only use this from the neck down because I prefer to use the Babo Botanicals Baby Face Mineral Sunscreen Stick SPF 50 on their faces. The only reason is because they think it's fun to use the stick on their face. PROS: There are several factors to consider when I shop for baby sunscreen: active ingredients, waterproof, greasiness, sheerness, and ease of spreading. I love that Zinc Oxide is 100% the active ingredient, it holds its own to water and does not wash off, it is not so greasy that dirt will clump onto their skin but perhaps a bit of dust does stick if they go directly into the sand box after application/reapplication. It does turn them a one tint lighter but they are fair skinned and pure Zinc Oxide is white so that does concern me. It is easy to spread and although it kind of smells like play dough in my opinion I love that it is not filled with useless toxic scents. The lotion is applied to the backs of their hands and Babo has never been an issues with burning eyes. I used scent free CeraVe moisturizing spf 50 in a pinch once and my poor babies' eyes were stinging as soon as they rubbed them. I am glad there is no stinging with Babo! CONS: It is pricey. I am diligent about reapplying every 80-90 minutes. This small bottle didn't last the whole month with two babies. Thank goodness for the buy one get one half off deal. CONCLUSION: I would definitely recommend this product! When it comes to my kids and their comfort it's worth it to spend a little extra for peace of mind.

This leaves an obvious white cast on my skin and my clothes. While I appreciate that it has a clean ingredient list and is good for the corals, it isnt something I want to use unless in the privacy of my patio
