Flo Bamboo Period Pads - 14 Day & 10 Night

I’m extremely pleased with the Flo Bamboo Period Pads and would happily give them five stars. They are a fantastic alternative to standard sanitary pads, offering a great combination of comfort, softness, and reliable protection. From the first use, the silky soft feel was noticeable, making them much more comfortable for everyday wear. The absorbency is excellent, providing confidence and protection throughout the day without feeling bulky. The breathable design is a major advantage, helping to keep things feeling fresh and comfortable, even when worn for longer periods. The pads stay securely in place and feel discreet under clothing, which makes them ideal for work, travel, or daily activities. I really appreciate the gentle feel of the bamboo material, as it feels kinder on sensitive skin compared with some traditional options. I gave these a go due to the fact that they were priced so cheaply (unsure if it was due to them being released or not.) I will now be sticking with this particular brand which is not something I expected to happen. I used to always use a very well known brand ~ that could begin with the first letter of the alphabet ~ however due to the issues that many people have, myself included, with the brand being convinced that they should all be scented this is the perfect switch for me. They do look very thin ~ more so than the previously mentioned brand ~ and I automatically assumed that they would be rubbish and that they could not be anywhere near as absorbent. I was completely wrong! I have very heavy periods, yet I went through less of these than I usually do when using the other brand. (These may seem thin but they work magic!) No issues at all with leaking, which is a first for me, and no irritation caused. They are very comfortable to use and certainly do not have that plasticky type thing about them which is a huge plus. The fact that these are natural is most definitely a huge thing and it is brilliant. I will be continuing to buy these and this is from a user of the other brand for over twenty five years! This box is perfect as a starting post as it certainly has the right mix in it. The night pads work amazingly well and no idea how the charcoal actually works but it has stopped the waking up during the night from flooding. I have gone from having to use countless, uncomfortable and irritating night pads during the day, due to heaviness, of being able to rely on just a few of these night pads instead. I honestly cannot recommend these enough and and I would definitely say to give them a try!

These are honestly the best I have ever used. I have sensitive skin which is easily irritated but these are very comfy. They are slim compared to all the other newer healthier brands out there right now and are top for absorbency but still don’t contain nasties. Repeat customer, they work brilliantly for me!

The pads are soft, comfortable, and come in great eco-friendly packaging. I didn't experience any irritation, which is often a concern for me with other cruelty free and chemical free brands. They’re also discreet under clothes, so I didn’t notice them at all, and I appreciated that they’re scent-free and didn’t cause any unpleasant odour after wear. However, I did find them a bit too short for my needs, as I tend to bleed towards the front, and the pads didn’t offer quite enough coverage. Additionally, the little tabs meant to secure the pad didn’t stay in place very well, causing some shifting during wear. Despite these minor issues, I think this is a solid product, and I’ll definitely use it again on lighter, less active days.

Best pads I've ever tried - adhere properly and DON'T move through the night, made of natural materials, don't make me itch and burn like certain brands (always I'm glaring at you, cause idk wtf you're making your pads out of and putting on them but my nether region hates it) and they're genuinely so comfy to wear that I forget about it completely until it's time to change them.

Love these! No nasties in them and I find they work effectively for me, as someone with endometriosis and heavier periods. Also a great price!

I have struggled to find something that is suitable for my skin and which does not cause skin irritation due to fragrance etc. From the very first use, I noticed how soft and gentle they feel. There’s no irritation, itching, or uncomfortable rubbing something I’ve definitely struggled with using other brands. The materials feel breathable and smooth against the skin, making them ideal for long wear, especially overnight. The absorbency is excellent for both day and night use. During the day, the pads stay thin and comfortable while still providing reliable protection. At night, the longer pad gives full coverage and peace of mind, no leaks, no shifting, and no waking up to discomfort. They stay securely in place and don’t bunch up. Another big plus is that they don’t have a strong artificial scent, which is a huge win for sensitive skin. Everything about these pads feels thoughtfully designed to be kind to your body while still doing the job well. Overall, If you have sensitive skin and want a pad that works without causing irritation, I highly recommend giving these a try. They’ve quickly become my go to choice now!

These aren't bad pads. Definitely soft and don't cause any form of irritation. However they don't stick well at all. So they don't stay in place for long. Tend to have to change more often because they don't have enough glue on the pad and absolutely not enough on the wings. But they are definitely comfortable and good for those who are sensitive and price is really good. Just don't stay stuck like you need them too.

Super comfortable, not smelly or itchy, and there are two different sizes in the pack which is very very handy! Could do with having some mre in there but its not like it cantains less than the usual box so all is good. I would reccomend stocking up on these rather than buying just one box :)

I’ve been testing a number of options in the no-plastic category and so far this has been the top contender. I really wish you could order a sample pack of many brands for that purpose, but instead had to order a stack 🙄. A very solid option for light days (or medium ones, when you’re in a situation where you can switch out at times during the day), mild incontinence, or daily use for spotting. The sticker-glue doesn’t glom as firmly onto cotton as some of the usual supermarket brands, or extend edge-to-edge, but so far pads have remained in place, even on active days of packing for a move and during a 10-mile bike ride. I noticed some reviews complained about secure positioning, so I was concerned but so far it hasn’t been an issue for me. I wish they were a half-inch or more longer, for even more peace of mind, but length is typical of conventional daily pads and is adequate, especially if you can switch out for a new one when things get heavy. The texture is pretty smooth; I’ve found other eco options to have a top layer that’s a little coarser and more like very inexpensive generic store brands. This is a step or two above that. I’m not especially sensitive to texture, though, so if you need the satin-smooth top layers of conventional pads, this might not be slick enough for you, even though it’s been the softest of the non-plastic pack. I like that the pads are not individually wrapped; even with bio-plastic, that’s an extra footprint I don’t personally require; I just fold and tuck extras into a pocket or purse. I much prefer to shop locally but had no luck finding this unwrapped option in stores, so had to cave and order here. They’re not as substantial in terms of absorbing or as long yet super-thin as the Always extra longs that were my longtime go-to, but they’re a close match in terms of inconspicuous slim profile and have done the trick. I still use the Always when I won’t be near a bathroom for ages, but this is now my pick for most use-cases. I’m just really glad to have found an option that works for me and that doesn’t make me feel crappy, like I’m a contributor to never-decaying landfills.
