Brilliant product
I love this! Its just the right size for hobby gardeners or those just starting out (like me!) It retains heat and humidity well and was surprisingly easy to put together and I am useless at this stuff usually so that is saying something! Living in Scotland it can get a bit windy and wild here so I did have to weight it down by putting some tools and heavy items at the bottom to stop it blowing away as it can get quite windy here. However, it seems fairly sturdy once you have it secured. Very impressed with the quality and value for money.

Perfect for balconies or small gardens
Great little greenhouse – exactly what I needed. It was very straightforward to assemble and took no more than 15 minutes. Once built, it feels sturdy and well-made. The size is perfect for a balcony, giving just enough space for plants without taking over. Excellent value for money and I’d definitely recommend.

Great little greenhouse
It was really easy to put up and seems quite sturdy but only time will tell. I would have liked more bracket clips to hold the shelves more securely so I have had to use cable ties to secure it a bit more. There seems plenty of room for a few different sized plants and great for little seedlings which I will be doing early next year. For the price I think its a good little greenhouse.

It’s the best mini greenhouse out there, fantastic.
Don’t even buy another make, other Han this one. Christow mini greenhouse is just the best compared to other ones you will see. I have bought many of these little mini greenhouses over the years and everyone has been ok if not a little disappointing, because the cover rips, the plastic bits break, they blow over in the slightest wind but I put up with them because they were cheap and my expectations were low. This mini greenhouse is just by Christow has just blown me away, I had to get a new cover for my 5 month old mini greenhouse, I thought they were all the same size so I ordered a Christow cover and it was miles to big for my rubbish old frame, so I bought the Christow mini greenhouse 4 tier and it did not disappoint. Straight away it was wider and taller than all the other brands out there, which was amazing because more room for my seedlings and plants. Next, the quality, you can tell straight away that the quality is a million times better than all those over cheap ones you see. The cover is about 3 x thicker than all the other brands out there. The zips and seems are sewn properly and are strengthened, so no more ripped seams and zips, just for that reason it’s worth every penny. It’s been a blustery time while it’s been up and it’s not blown over once, which is great but I would always recommend weighting it down and zipping up in windy weather. I am honestly blown away with this little greenhouse, I have been buying them for over 30 years and I have gone through a fair few, believe me. I will never buy another brand ever again.

Great product with first class customer service
The mini green house is very easy to put together, just tapping with the palm of your hand is enough to get all the metal bars and frame to fit tightly. The cover is made of a thick material and good fit. Unfortunately about an inch and a half of stitching at the top of the cover had come apart. Contacting Til Brands, the supplier, was very easy and a replacement cover arrived within 3 days. The zip quality is one of the best I have seen on these mini houses, (I have two other makes). The cover is not transparent and because of this the heat retention is excellent. I have planted seeds, both shop brought and from our own vegetables and within 7 days the seedlings are showing. Very happy with the green house.

Nice little greenhouse
Easy to assemble, seems good quality. I did as other reviews suggested and cable tied the shelves to the frame and used the clips to help secure the cover to the frame from the outside. The shelves are of a good size so I can fit plenty of plants in there. When empty it is very light and easy to move but stays together. The instructions were basic but easy to follow. I think it’s good value for money.

Fine, once you’ve completed repairs…
I bought this particular mini greenhouse as I wanted one with the reinforced white cover, and also liked the black frame and grey trim. It was also very cheap compared to other models I was considering, so I took this into account when writing this review! There were no assembly instructions- not a problem as I found a YouTube assembly video for a nearly identical model. EDIT! Apologies- assembly diagram found! However, the cover is where the problems started. I put it over the frame, and as I went to zip it up I noticed two areas where the zip was not sewn into the cover, leaving holes. As a keen sewer, I can see that this part of the manufacturing process has been rushed. It’s really important that the zip is sewn in correctly, as it is under tension once on the frame and fully zipped up. I can see why the stitches are large, because a smaller stitch risks tearing the plastic. Easily solved, for me however, by running a wide zig-zag stitch along this seam. (See video) It’s worth doing this for the entire zip lengths on both sides, even if it is ok now, because it’s clear that the zip is only just sewn in as it is, and won’t last long under tension. So now the zip as secure. However, fitting it on to the frame was still tricky as it’s very tight, and any attempt to tug too hard on the zip causes the (cheap) zip to separate. My zip tab also broke. Again, not a problem- I would have made better pull tabs anyway! I would advise anyone fitting the cover on to go slow, ease the cover around, check the poles are fully in. Now, after all my adjustments, I have a great mini-greenhouse. I understand that the machinists themselves are paid horribly, but could the process engineers not just review their manufacture at this vital stage and fully “catch” the zip?
