Astro Pneumatic 50SLMAX Sunlight 500 Lumen Rechargeable Handheld Triple Temperature Color Match Light

I was having trouble color matching a test panel to the car even in sunlight, used the Astro 50SLMAXand right away it showed me that the test panel was an exact match, glad I bought great quality product well worth the money.

I'm a detailer that works primarily on high end sports cars and collector show cars. This light allows me to get the perfect paint correction in any color car. I can see any defect on the brightest white to the darkest black to carbon fiber (anyone who has worked with real carbon fiber knows how the material can play tricks on the eyes with that 3d effect).I compared this to the 3m lights and the scangrip and this light is right on par with the best in professional lights. It's solid and an absolute gem to have in my shop!!

Works great, great for showing paint coverage, battery life is good, charger can be wall mounted to save space.

I bought this based on the reviews. I was kind of scared that I wasn’t going to like it when it arrived because I had previously bought the chemical guys detail light. That one was 140 lumens and just didn’t give me what I wanted when I was paint correcting (I am your average weekend warrior.) let me tell you that I was blown away on how I can see the swirls on a car when I tried 50SLMAX. I don’t know why I never went with this one in the first place and I feel like an idiot. If you’re a weekend warrior and are trying to have a tool like this, then buy this. You wont be disappointed and I still can’t quite understand why the Scangrip is twice as much and they are both basically the same.I can’t wait until I start using this tool for paint correction and it was worth the money

This is a must have tool for matching colors. I use it almost every day and it just keeps on going. I have only had to charge it twice in the 2 plus months I have owned it. Outstanding product.

If you do detailing or paintwork, this light is your new BFF. Those scratches, swirls, hazing, etc. that previously showed up only under ideal lighting conditions are easily spotted on both light and dark vehicles.I had previously used a colleagues scangrip, which is an excellent light but crazy expensive. This is every bit as good at half the cost. There are slightly cheaper Chinesium units, but this one is a known and trusted brand at equivalent price point.If you are serious about detailing, paint correction, etc., just buy it.
