You don’t spend hours moving fences and caring for animals to be let down by sub par wire. There’s no substitute for turbo wire this stuff is strong, and doesn’t fail to deliver a spark.

I have used very expensive Electro-braid and I have used power wizards version of this product. The Gallagher Turbo Wire is the best. It is very economical, has 9 strands of conductors, it holds tension very well. It is very visible to my livestock. It carries a charge very well. I use it for sheep which can be stubborn and are well insulated with heavy wool, so I use a very hot charger and this stuff delivers a great shock. It also springs back into shape when the deer hit it. The only problem is that you will burn through this fast if it shorts out and is arching against a t-post, but you can splice it back together easily enough. Best bang for the buck.

Does the job

I am very pleased with this fencing. I would suggest wearing gloves when handling it. This stuff really carries electricity well and seems to stay tight. It’s been pretty easy to tie pieces together and in some places I added a wire wrapped across a joint to improve the connection. I’ve had some of this out in the weather for a year.

We have been rotational grazing cattle for several years and tried many brands of reels and wire. This is by far the best we've used. Light weight, great conductability, strong and seems to hold up to the sun great. We are slowly replacing all our wire/reels to this brand.

I put up a fence to keep deer out of my orchard and surprised myself that its working. For deer you have to have 3 strands, one high, one in the middle and one low but the most important is to have a 4th wire outside this line at hip height, basically you're making your fence 3D if you get my meaning. Deer can't see in 3D so they won't jump it. I used the 6 strand wire on my first fence, this one is 9, I need it to last and I need to make it a lot bigger so, thank you Gallagher.

Didn't have any issues installing and seems pretty sturdy. Getting around 4kv on a 800' fence from a solar fence energizer (there is a ten-foot run of underground wire going under a gate that connects the two halves of the fence).
