Made in Japan... Now that actually means something and that something is quality.
Honestly, the quality of these pliers simply blew me away. I've read the reviews and if that was not impressive enough, I watched a number of YouTube videos regarding the pliers and I can't find anything negative about them. Well, they arrived quickly and I'm impressed. The machining is absolutely spot-on perfection and they operate with absolute fluidity. The teeth are sharp and precise and really grab on with a massive amount of power, easily removing most broken bolts. The cutter is incredibly sharp, leaving clean, accurate cuts, precise and ready to us. While the handles are not perhaps as smooth and comfortable as the Knipex insulated tools, they're every bit the quality of any European produced tool and miles beyond anything produced in China. These will not replace standard slip jaw pliers, but that's not their designed purpose. I wouldn't perhaps refer to them as linesman pliers, but yes, you could use these in place of your Kleins if you're working with smaller guages. Okay, these aren't exactly cheap, but when you look at them up close, examine the detail and precision machining, it's honestly a wonder they're not $70.00 a pair. WOW! I plan to use these on my work bench, where my favorite, daily-use hand tools are lovingly placed within reach. These are an absolutely recommended addition for anyone who builds, creates, wires, plumbs, designs or works with their hands, professional or DIY'r.

Best pair of pliers I’ve ever owned
If you are able to clamp the screw then buy this and skip everything else! Works exactly as advertised. Very nice pair of pliers that have a good durable feeling when holding them. When using it, the grips are very comfortable as well. 10 out of 5 stars!

Excellent and well worth the price
I love these pliers! I am moving some Elfa bookshelf tracks from one wall to another. In our old house the wood behind the Sheetrock is rock solid, and I stripped a few of the screws getting them out. Some took extraordinary effort, but one screw wouldn't budge beyond a bare smidgen over the metal track. I tried the screw extractor the local hardware store suggested, and when the didn't work I tried the little drill bit that was supposed to go into the screw head, and when that didn't work I tried a narrow hacksaw. Absolutely no success. The Vampire Pro arrived today (thank you, Amazon Prime), and I had that screw out in about 30 seconds, maybe a minute, and with no muscle power needed. Successful and shockingly easy to use after all my prior efforts. The inside of the pliers is designed so that what's being gripped (here, a screw) won't slip when the pliers are turned. Brilliant. Now I don't have to call a handyman or contractor. Expensive, but well-made and worth it.

Light and strong. Great for tie wire
Bought these mainly for tie wire. I do scaffold. These are my 4th pair in a quest to find the perfect pliers for my application. I wanted something durable but not too bulky. These handle great and I really like the curved bite on them. It grabs the twisted wire nicely for spinning it tight. They seem very durable. I've even used them to pull a few nails and screws which is apparently what they're designed for. They're smaller than your typical linesmans which for me seems to keep them better seated in my holster. When you're up on scaffold it's important to NOT drop any of your tools. Plus it's really cool, although not as important, when my coworkers ask if they can borrow "The Vamps" real quick lol

Outstanding tool except... quick to rust in damp environment
These are amazing pliers. They work great to remove fasteners with stripped heads, and are an excellent all around plier, my favorite. They are one of three tools I grab for almost any project. I've built over two miles of net wire fence using these. They are great for grabbing wire or fasteners from any position or orientation. When new, they glide open and closed and are a joy to use. BUT when exposed to even a minimal damp environment for any length of time they rust and seize, making them unusable. The rust is too severe for simple lubrication (e.g., machine oil, WD-40, penetrating oil, etc). The only thing I've found that restores them to near new function is a half hour with valve grinding compound. These would be perfect if the metal were more like whatever Knipex uses in their amazing compound cutters. I've had the Knipex cutters alongside the Vampliers building fence and doing assorted other projects for over a year. The Knipex cutters are near perfect, no rust after a year's use while the Vampliers have had to be compounded twice. If these weren't so good otherwise they wouldn't be worth the trouble of keeping them rust free or getting them working again after being in a damp environment. Overall, even with the one drawback, I highly recommend these.

Works as claimed.
Does the on. I had a deeply embedded screw with a stripped head. The vamplier grabs the head tightly and allows you to twist and unscrew the problem easily. A normal pliers was useless.

WOW... read on...
I own a ton of tools from the tool truck brands all the way down to 1920s vintage American made tools. One thing I can tell you is these are absolutely expertly made. Leave it to the Japanese to manufacture something that is near perfect. They are ergonomically excellent in every way that I can tell so far and have been fit perfectly with no wobble or slop in the tooling. I could go on and on, but basically this is a tool that is 'perfect' in every way so far. The only thing I cannot yet test is longevity or durability, but the tools I'm still using from the 80s that are Japanese tell me I won't have any issue with these either. Massive thanks to the manufacturer for choosing Japanese production. Outstanding tool.

Smooth operation and perfect size
The vampliers are made in Japan and it shows. The teeth align perfectly and they open/close with smooth and consistent pressure. The one thing I like most (not the striped screw part that’s 2ed) is that they are not 9-1/2 inches like a lot of lineman pliers. I know what real lineman do with the design of the pliers but it has many home-gamer uses. The cutters are nice and don’t mush the wire as much as some of my other lineman’s

A tool you didn't know you needed, but will not regret buying.
Although I have only used these a couple of times for their advertised purpose (damaged screw extraction) I am very pleased. Due to the way the teeth are cut into the jaws of the pliers, they are able to securely grab damaged screw heads and facilitate their removal. Particularly with smaller screws (where getting a grip is more the issue, rather than overcoming the tightness of the screw) they can save a lot of time and aggravation. Compared to traditional screw extractors (where you have to drill a hole and then insert a left hand threaded extractor) these are far easier to use and have a higher success rate. The pliers feel like a quality item and fit my hand well. Definitely recommended to have in your toolbox even though they are a bit pricey compared to other hand tools.

Excelente compra
Tarde 4 años en esperar a que bajara el precio ya que para unas pinzas si es algo, pero cumple con lo prometido. Fueron recomendadas por el canal de Youtube de Project Farm. Las mejores de su categoría.

Absolute Beast
Forget everything you know about pliers. These Vampliers are built for one thing: total domination over stubborn hardware. I’ve used them on stripped Torx and rusted hex bolts, and they haven't failed me once. They are now a permanent resident in my 'Top Drawer' tools. If you do any DIY or mechanical work, just buy them. Your future self will thank you.
