Tetra Aquarium Starter Line LED 105 Litre Fish Tank Complete Set,Black

After searching for weeks for a reasonably sized tank at a reasonable price I kept coming back to this one. Intially I was slightly put off. Simply because reviews on various sites where mixed. Ranging from glowing to similar complaints about the filter not being adequate or the tank arriving smashed up. However. I have been over the moon with mine. It came nice and early with a driver happy to place inside the house. Came wel packed and fully intact with all its accessories. The filter does not seem as 'aggressive? ' as a smaller interpret one I had in a smaller tank. But so far seems to be be doing a much better job. Its lovely and quiet unlike my last few filters. Only time will really tell overall though as its too soon to really comment on its performance. The tank itself tho is great. My fish are far happier. My tanks easier for maintence. My kids are happy they can finally see the fish properly. The light is super bright. I was initially shocked at how bright it was. But again great for viewing. If I haven't switched it off I certainly Can mooch around the kitchen at night without needing to turn a main room light on, that's for sure.. Just maybe want to remember to turn it off at night if in a bedroom or invest in Blue light. For my purposes / location it's great. The feeding hatch is great. Altho if u want to get to the bottom of the tank u will need to remove the lid really. The lid itself is nice and light weight for lifting for maintence.. However I'd make sure u put it well out of the way when u do so. If u have kids or other pets for example. As the plastic doesn't seem the strongest. I wouldn't push my luck with it. I've noticed 2 cut outs in the lid for wires. Which are just enough for my filter on one side and my air pump and led air stone on the other. I don't think it has one on the middle. I could be wrong. If I'm right and it doesn't. I think that would be a handy improvement, in order to have less wire sprawled acroos the tank. All in all. Great for the money. Glad I went with this one rather spending twice the amount on other brand when my fish may very well outgrow.

The filter on this fish tank let the product down lucky i had my own from smaller tank. It was useless and to big for tank. Came with plasic balls. I threw away. As didn't have a clue how to proceed to use. My fish prefer not to have the light on. So I could of purchased a cheaper one. If I'd known my fish were not going to like alot of light. Durable and sturdy had almost a year now. My advice when buying a fish tank buy a gravel cleaner and water syphon even then it's advisable to rince all fish gravel more than twice and wash all fish ornaments with a brush to get rid of excess slime. Filter pump I wash the sponge and led bag but its best to purchase spares.

I love this tank it looks great, i have put my old filter in as well as the one provided, for bacteria reasons, i also used all the water and gravel plants etc from my old tank,and my own heater as the one provided has no adjustment on it so you do not know what tempreture it is set at? all areas are eccessible so will be easy to clean great value for money, my fishes look healthy and happy enough very pleased and would recommend

Arrived quickly and double boxed so thought all would be ok. Unfortunately the thermostat was loose in its own box in the middle of the tank so obviously bouncing around freely in transportation and arrived smashed. I’m hoping to get a refund for the part or replacement. Other than that it is a great sized tank and set up for a starter or someone like me who is upsizing from a 50ltr

Very happy with this purchase. I was looking for a beginner's aquarium, with little knowledge of the various designs and huge amounts of different tech to run one. This came with all the necessary equipment required (excluding an air pump/stone), and each component is suited for the tanks size. Incredibly easy to set up, very easy to maintain the filter too. Really took the work out of choosing individual parts and worrying if i had chosen the right things, and cheaper than buying separately. 5 Stars for sure.

This tank is a very nice size tank and Looks fine . People have moaned about the plastic lid but that makes it light , rust free and easy to cut if need be for other accessories.( so yes buy the tank ) Why the 1 star ? the heater only heats to 25 degrees most tropical fish prefer just a little warmer and if you place heater in the filter over to the left side of the tank then the right side of the tank will only reach 23 degrees . Now the filter , people have left in reviews that small fish get sucked in through the inlet at the front and yes I agree that is possible but I have had sucking loach disappear and found them alive in the filter box . obviously they are too big to go through the inlet . on investigation I have found where the heater fits in the filter housing there are 2 large slots so the heater clips can move up and down , these slots are large enough for many fish to easily swim through , very very bad design fault Please do buy the tank at this price , even keep the heater for now and change at a later date if you find that the fish don't breed and you want them to . But buy yourself a much safer filter , maybe talk to a local dealer for advice on this , or get an external filter that is my next move and I wish I had just changed the filter from the start But please enjoy this tank with a safe filter it is a very nice tank

The 105 litre Starter tank is Amazing value for money and very smart. Replacement for a 10+ year old slightly smaller tropical fish " fish box" tank that was overcome by limescale causing the lamps to short circuit. This new Tank was very easy to set up and transferring the fish from the old tank into this new Tetra tank was straightforward. I'm truly delighted. Having looking around the local Aquarium retail shops I was expecting to have to pay around £300+ for a replacement tank. As ever, checking on Amazon, I was surprised to see this item available. The reviews were mainly very good. So needing something at short notice I jumped at this offer at £125. Tetra as a known brand gave me confidence to select it, even though it appeared very cheap to buy. I'm so happy with this Tank and it seems the fish are as well. Thoroughly recommend, if like me you want a low maintenance uncomplicated fish tank that fascinates the grandchildren and gives my wife and I grear pleasure when taking that odd moment to sit down and relax just watching the fish swimming around the tank. Very soothing.

This is a good value for money item. Only thing I would suggest to suppliers is how its packaged, with no protection for the glass and loose accessories inside. My 1st purchase the glass was broken, 2nd purchase the loose light inside broke (not helped by the delivery driver who was careless in how he handled it) That aside I love my tank.
