Can this controller work with the Multiplus II?

Yea it will. I have one installed with my Multi Plus- works great

I am using an mk3 and pc to contol the ac input current and this seams pricey for that main feature, is there another alternative?

This would be the cheapest option in terms of installing a new product. There is the Cerbo GX + Touch 50 GX. It offers many more features for the user to mess their system on-site or remotely.

I cannot find a way to dim or turn off the display. Anyone know how?
