A bit narrow. I'm not sure if they will hold up like a Breeze brand clamp.

These large SS clamps work well. Great for ducts, dryer vents and other uses. I used them with a temporary plumbing repair and they worked. A little expensive but they are reusable. Stronger than many I have had that did tear when too much pressure applied when tightening.

Got this to attach a 10', 1-1/4" diameter round aluminum pole to a 4" square fence pole. Needed to mount a weather station on top of the round pole 10' off the ground. Bought a new weather station and wanted to mount it as high as possible. Didn't want to dig a hole, pour concrete, to mount the pole so I decided to use the post on my existing backyard fence to hold the pole. The fence has a 4" diameter square post. I put the pole next to the fence post and used 4 of these clamps to hold it tight. This held the pole tight to the fence post and allowed me to mount my weather station up 10' The 8" clamps were long, so I cut about 3-4" off of them and put them around both the fence post and aluminum pole. Took a while to turn the adjusting mechanism tight. At the same point on every full turn, it got difficult to tighten, I had to use extra force each time to get past this point. Other than that, it worked well. Appears to be very tight but don't know why it couldn't have worked smoother.

These work great, but it would be helpful if the instructions were included to let buyers know - you must tighten the screw of the clamp to CLOSE and tighten the grip of the clamp. Very counterintuitive, but one of the videos show these very simple instructions. Thank you to Peterson Products video for making this very simple.

Needed replacements for my 1995 corvette. Fit well and seems sturdy.

These are smaller than the stated size and do not fit an 8 inch round duct.

They're band clamps. They work. But be aware that if you have a 4" duct, you'll have a devil of a time getting these on. The size of the clamp is the MAXIMUM size that the clamp will fit. So if you need this for a 3" duct, it'll work well. A 4" duct, on the other hand....Good luck.

Ordered once Description says 8 inch , actually they are 12 inch. Returned the 12 inch ordered 8 inch again. Same thing 12 inch. Interesting that description says 8 inch and so does labelling on packaging but it is 12 inch? Must he mfg labelling and packaging error.
