Well made, easy to install. Says it holds up to 10 pounds and i would agree with that as its very sturdy. Extra cord coils up inside the mount and fits my Sonos Play1 perfectly

I had my doubts about this holding the Sonos speaker, but it works perfectly. They're provide a metal plate that replaces the plastic one on the wall to hold it in place, and it comes in two different designs to fit your wall outlet. It feels very sturdy on the wall even with the slightly heavy speaker. I added two zip ties only because this is a commercial space and the speaker is within easy reach to help deter theft. You can fit the cord underneath the cover if you wrap it very carefully. Overall this is a very nice product.

Shelf seems well made, but in the box was 3 standard outlet plates and no decora plate. Either I got previously opened item or quality control from Sanus is poor. Exchanging and hoping that I get the right adapter this time. Update: Sanus reached out after my initial review to offer to make things right. I appreciate the quick response and the replacement shelf had the correct parts and works great. Updating rating to 4 stars for the positive service, but still have the leave off a star for the initial trouble. Shelf is well build, looks nice and is plenty sturdy for my Sonos Era 100. The little cable concealment compartment is nice have, but it was a bit of a pain to get the cable to fit in and then get the lid on. Little plastic clips to wrap the cable around would be a good idea for a future revision.

I see a lot of reviews stating frustration with the lack of cable management. Yes, there's not an abundant amount of cable management on this shelf, but there's a good amount in comparison. The install took me less than five minutes. It's a very simple design but extremely useful and complimentary. Pictured you will see that I purchased this for my two HomePod Mini's. I installed the second one in our basement. The HomePod sits atop perfectly and sound quality is not affected in the slightest. Still sounds great! Cable management is not ideal, but it's better than what some are saying in the reviews. The HomePod Mini comes with a 2 meter (6 foot) braided cable that is quite rigid. It took a minute or two, but I wound it up and was able to get it tucked away with no issues. I've already received multiple compliments on the shelf and is really nice to get things up off the floor or to free up some counter space. Would absolutely recommend this to friends and family. Great Christmas gift as well!

I found this after looking for something to mount the google nest Wi-Fi pro and tried it out. Was super easy to install. The shelf is a bit close to the top socket so after the router is installed you can either use the top or bottom receptacle. If the bottom one is used then the wire extends down further and sort of covers the upper receptacle which can be annoying. The cleaner approach is to use the upper receptacle but the plug is too large and essentially covers both plugs. See photo. Will just have to rely on other receptacles around the room. The shelf is a bit larger for the nest Wi-Fi pro device but it’s definitely sturdy enough. So far it’s been useful without having to resort to the 3d printed ceiling mounts that are currently in the market specifically for the nest Wi-Fi pro.

Great, Simple Tech, solution to getting a small speaker off of the countertop or the floor. Super easy to install by reusing the two screws already on your switch plate, or using the two longer screws that are included. It fits both kinds of outlets, the one that has a large rectangle that includes both plugs, or two oval one for each plug. The best part that a prior review missed is that the cord, if coiled just right, fits nicely inside the shelf, getting it nicely out of the way. Overall, a fabulous investment.

I will be honest, i was skeptical when i started looking for shelves. My expectation was pretty low when i ordered this shelf. It arrived in a really nice box, which was my first surprise. After opening it I was shocked at how high quality this shelf really is. There are a couple of things that the description does not do justice and it's worth a shout out. 1. Very high quality. 2. the top of the shelf comes off so you can wrap the cords up and keep it out of the way. 3. This will work for a light switch as well, the design is neat and it comes with 2 plates, one for a switch and 1 for a plug. Excellent product! Highly recommend it.

The Sanus Outlet Shelf Speaker Mount works perfectly for our dining room speakers - gets them off the buffet and the install above the outlet is tidy and professional looking. I do not like seeing electrical cords and these speaker mounts deal quite effectively with that issue, mounting them directly over the outlet.

I bought this for the bathroom to put our electric toothbrush charger on to deal with the lack of counter space. This is a high quality item! We tried one other brand of plug in cover shelf and it immediately got returned! But then we ordered this one. It looks good, is a high end product, is very sturdy, and hides the extra power cord very well. The size is perfect. I highly recommend this product!

Perfect shelf for our Sonos speaker. The Sonos speaker weighs several pounds, but this shelf is very sturdy. It is super easy to install and hides the speaker’s power cord.

I've bought three of these now and they do the job. My one complaint is that the the "compartment" to coil up the cord so it doesn't show is too shallow. It's a frustrating job to get the cord into the compartment. I'm 1 for 3 on my purchase so far - the other two I just coiled the cord beside the unit and zip tied it.

I really like these speaker shelves. They are easy to install and hold quite a bit of weight. I would recommend.
