16 Gauge Silicone Wire Spool 100 ft Red Flexible 16 AWG Stranded Tinned Copper Wire

This wire has an excellent "feel" and is easy to use. I have the 16 gauge wire and am using it as antenna wire. Since it is silicone, any heat from transmitting will not affect the wire and the silicone wire should not be affected by icing during the winter. It is true tinned copper wire and not copper plated aluminum wire so it is easy to solder. When measuring the wire for cutting it make antennas, I found that it accurate in the footage listed on the spool. In fact, you get a small amount over what is stated. I have bought spools from other companies that were not as advertised.

This is good wire and very flexible. It has not let me down. The insulation does not melt when you solder the conductors. Always a plus.

Actual true 16awg. Nice soft and flexible insulation. Seen plenty of 14awg wire that was less diameter than this. This is what I expect from just under $.50/ft. Gotta pay the cost if you want quality.

The wire arrived when predicted and is exactly as advertised. It is perfect for my project to build an NVIS 40M antenna.

Tough wire. Good value for the price and easy to work with. Have tested the corrosion resistance and I can say there is zero oxidation visible in a wet environment. Using as grounding wire.

It's wire, it works. Very flexible. The outer silicone insulation makes it a little "grippy", so it's somewhat difficult to feed it through cable sleeving - but that's the nature of the material, not a flaw with this product.

I like its flexibility. Used for ham radio HF vertical ground plane radial wires.

I wanted a different color for my truck wiring project and this works very well.
